Hi, my real name is Rita, and I am fifteen (soon to be sixteen) years old. I like to write Star Wars fan fiction, and I also write fantasy, though I have nothing posted yet involving my fantasy characters on fictionpress. I enjoy reading Star Wars EU (Expanded Universe), my favorites (so far) are all of Timothy Zahn's books and Mike A. Stackpole's I, Jedi and X-Wing series.

I am also into music, I have been playing piano for nine years, floor harp for three years, and bass clarinet for three or so years...I am learning the electric bass guitar and guitar. My favorite bands ever include: Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Our Lady peace, The Beatles and Savatage. If you recognize any of these bands, then you know that I very much like rock. I can't listen to any other genre of music, except I love soundtracks from movies. Hans Zimmer is a very good composer, so is James Horner, John Williams and James-Newton Howard, just to name a few.

Hopefully I will be writing more soon and continuing with the same character and also start other stories with different characters. I am a GM (Game-Master) of a Star Wars role-playing game, and I was thinking about typing out the story, who knows. I do not look at myself as a good writer, frankly, I think I suck. But I enjoy doing it, the same goes for drawing, I may not be good, but I find it fun. I have only had my twin read some of my stuff, and then, she doesn't even read it all. But that's okay, I don't mind.

The Gaming group I'm apart of is pretty cool, though they all are older then me, save one or two. We have maybe around eight people who game on saturdays when I GM. They are okay, though they don't give me a whole lot to work off, most of them don't know Star Wars that well, but they say they enjoy the game. Sometimes there are to many soap operas going on, for example, one of the girls in the gaming group seems to always pick horrible boyfriends, ones that don't match her at all. Then one of my sisters is going out with someone from the group and they always have to be annoying, though my sister is worse then Sean, at least he likes Star Wars.

Anyways, I talk way too much...I hope you enjoy the one story I have up right now (will get more up later), it was done a little while back, and I'm not sure how much I like it, but I worry to much about that sort of stuff. Just so you know I do not write about any canon characters, they are all mine and mine alone. I am not someone who will be writing about my character falling in love, for example with; Kyp Durron or Jacen Solo. There will be a few lovey-dovey scenes, but don't let that discourage you from reading!
