Current Focus: Hatter on a Hellmouth

Update for 09/12/12: My deepest apologies for having been AWOL for such a long time. I have good news and bad. The good news is that I'm in medical school, have a new awesome boyfriend, and an apartment all to myself. The bad news is that I have no time to really read or write fanfiction. so I don't know when...if ever...I will return. I'm so sorry! But I'm on the path to my dream now and I have to set some things aside. I'll try to get back into ff at some point, but I have no idea when that would happen. Life just happened. But I enjoyed writing and reading the reviews and I deeply appreciate all those who supported me. Thank you!

Summary: Prepare yourselves for blood, gore, apocalypses, OC's and canon characters from BtVS-which also means this may end up in an actual crossover section. Note that this story will not be compliant with the Buffy Season 8/Season 9 comics or the "After the Fall" comics. If those are what is considered canon then this will be AU after the respective series finales of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. May end up being more like a collection of short stories following the BtVS format with a season comprising a collection of subplots as part of an overarching plot. Some examples of subplots include:

-Hatter meeting Alice's "family" of Slayers, Watchers, Witches/Wiccas, etc. at the Cleveland Hellmouth Base Headquarters.
-Hatter's reaction to vampires and demons and how they are somewhat commonplace on a hellmouth.
-How Alice's dangerous job affects the dynamics of her relationship with Hatter.
-Alice trying to resolve her own petty committment issues while balancing her life as a supernatural warrior.
-Hatter and Alice arguing about his potential involvement in her Slayer activities (i.e. you really think he's going to sit quietly while Alice risks her neck? Really??)
-Some fluff such as simple dates and romantic moments showing the evolution of Hatter and Alice's relationship.
-Hatter trying to find a niche in Alice's world and making friends of his own.
-Hatter adapting to the technology of this world like internet, smartphones, learning to drive, video games, etc.
-Hatter learning martial arts and swordplay.
-Hatter impressing the Slayers with his "Sledgehammer".
-Robert's psychological issues (i.e. he has to have some form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, at the very least) impairing his ability to reassimilate back into society
-Robert and Carol's relationship-where they stand (he's been gone for eleven years, remember? I'm more realist than romantic, I suppose)
