Shalom my fellow writers/readers! I'll give you this one fair warning: I am positively awful at this profile stuff. SO! Without futher ado; I present my profile!

I typically write fantasy-fiction peices but have yet to post anything to Fanfiction due to the fact that I have another account on a different website called Quotev. For those of you who wish to read what I have written, my username is the same there as it is here: ShylyCourageous. Only on Quotev I have stories that I have liked and favorited. Sadly enough I don't read through this site much but I do like some of the stories I have read.

I especially like the Maximum Ride fanfiction I read but, regretably, have forgotten the title and author of said story. However these are my preferences for Maximum Ride:

Fang and Max Love Stories:

Max and Fang make a beautiful couple, and in all honesty; I'm a sucker for romance. However, some people go a little overboard with the whole "getting down" situation. Personally, I get tired of Max having human and/or mutant babies and hearing about how Fang doesn't want to be a father and the whole domestic drama that occurs in reality. Also, the portrayal of Fang as a character who simply lusts after Max is deplorable. On the other side of that coin is Max; The fact that she is also portrayed as a damsel is disappointing. In the original series, Max in the leader and heroine of the books. Although towards the end she kind of loses her grip on relationships and leadership, she still maintains her stance as heroine. I do prefer the more romantic stories of Max and Fang but a little action and adventure is greatly appreciated.

Iggy and Ella

Iggy and Ella are two of my favored characters and I love to see them come together. There is an insinuation in the series about them but it goes no farther than that. However, my insatiable curiosity often gets the better of me and I hunt for romance. I'm not very picky about this coupling because not many people have written about them, and even fewer have written poorly (although, in everyone writed maginifcently; it just depends on the subject)

Historical Fictions:

My very favorite topic to read about out of all my books and the plethora of writing accounts I have on websites, is historical fiction. Simply said: I'm a history nerd. I love it; so much so that I read my World History II text for fun. (Weird I know) Often times, (and this is also a case with me, so there is little conviction) writers do not know the culture, ethnicity, or fashions of the historical periods they write about. However, this can be turned. Steampunk versions of history can be altered, especially nearer to the industrial revolution itself; and it is better to write in that period anyway; if you ask my opinion. But most don't because I prattle on despite. It's very easy to please while writing a historical fiction but one wrong move can land you in a hole, if you're not careful; just be sure to research the period in time you are planning to write on.

Animes:

If you hadn't already guessed, I do in fact like anime, but I tend to be the most choosy about them. I stick to adventure, comedy, love-romance, action, and/or magic/fiction. But when it comes down to it, I like them all, so it's hard to displease on this one. If you have any recommendations, please send them!

That about raps it up... Also, about the updates: I try to update when I can, however, good timing and luck do not exactly run in my family line. I can't promise a predetermined date to update nor can I promise rapid completion of a story. Nevertheless, I will try my very best to complete any story I decide to put up, and I hope that you'll review it and post anything that you see fit.
