I love "Harry is rescued from the Dursleys" stories but never found one that was quite right. So I had to write one myself.

As part of the Triwizard Tournament, the Goblet of Fire may re-ignite after choosing the champions. This is a rare part of the choosing ceremony during which the goblet justifies its choices by showing something about each champion that influenced its decision.

Hermione, worried about Harry, decides that action needs to be taken. The mental wellbeing of her best friend is more important than a few rules after all. AU set a little bit before the Department of Mysteries Battle in OOTP.

The Mirror of Erised fulfills an eleven-year-old Harry Potter's desire in the strangest of ways. Suddenly thrust into the past, Harry copes with getting to know a newly dating James Potter and Lily Evans while Dumbledore figures out how to send him back to his own time. There's only one problem; time travel has many repercussions and Harry finds himself getting…younger.

"While the children were all very close with their aunts and uncles, close-knit as they all were with each other, there was no mistaking the obvious special liking they all had for Uncle Harry. Not to mention the liking he had for them."

"...It was often little things, small reminders, that brought memories, both good and bad, flooding to the surface." Such is the case with Harry one night, and Ginny is there, as always.

How would Sirius respond to finding Harry's hand bloody and engraved with the words, "I Must Not Tell Lies?" This is one of the many ways in which Sirius could have discovered Harry's hand after his detentions with Umbridge.

Harry arrives back to the family tent at the Quidditch World Cup to find everyone eating breakfast, and Rita Skeeter's morning Prophet article hanging, framed, upon the nearest cloth wall.

After Harry's boggart appears as his Uncle Vernon, Professor Lupin takes him for a chat with Headmaster Dumbledore, and then everything changes. Complete.

After the tournament, Sirius and Remus take Harry back to Grimmauld Place. Neither of them know what to say. (slightly canon divergent)

Predators target vulnerable children. The more the emotional deprivation the easier it is. Harry was an easy target. But what happens when Severus Snape discovers the truth during the first Occlumency lesson? What will the potion's master do when even he's knocked out of his comfort zone? (Fifth year). As the school year ends, Harry dreads having to return to his relatives and goes to talk to someone he thinks may be able to help him.

It's the end of the trio's sixth year, and with the war restricting activities, the students take some time to envision what they'd like to be doing... This is a one-shot written for the SIYE Dream challenge back in 2005.

Albus unknowingly uses a prototype potion to prank his brother James, but Harry and Ginny end up drinking it instead. Harry comes back for his 4th year at Hogwarts he comes back with a nasty chest cold. He tries the best he can to hide it from everyone, but his friend Ron notices something off and promises to keep a close eye on him. After their chat, things progress quickly and Harry finds himself collapsed on the bathroom floor needing the help he would never ask for.

This is my take on the not-yet-released deleted scene where Harry is coping by a waterfall. Harry is still coping after the third task. Ron and Hermione want to be there for him, but he refuses to admit anything's wrong. Can they help him through all that's happened? Read to find out.

Harry had reconciled with Dudley a few years back. He was even ready to try and mend some things with his Aunt Petunia. As for his Uncle Vernon? The last thing Harry wanted was for him to show up at his house uninvited on his anniversary. The confrontation rattles Harry, and suddenly family and friends are struggling to once again fix the damage that this man caused.

After fourth year, Harry is treated worse than ever by the Dursleys. He is taken out of Privet Drive by Sirius and Remus. At Grimmauld Place he begins to discover the true meaning of family, and learns what it feels like to finally come home after being away for so long. Harry was at Grimmauld Place and was feeling incredibly fond of everyone there. The dinner passed with laughter and joy, until Fred said something that Harry didn't know how to respond to. How should he? Nobody had ever said that to him before.

What begins as a simple trip to retrieve extra cleaning supplies for his mother turns into something more for Dudley, something even he can't explain. He still hasn't forgotten what the Dementors showed him the previous summer, and he's beginning to think that maybe they were right after all. Oneshot.

They weren't supposed to find out, that much was clear to both of them. But now that they had there was nothing in the world that would stop them from trying to fix it.
