To all of my fans out there: thanks for all your awesome support and don't worry... updates are in the near future, i'm just going through a little bout of writers block which pretty much SUCKS - so don't hate the playa, hate the game

So here's a little diddy 'bout moi:

The name's Kate, and I come from a galaxy far, far, away in a lil place known as Toronto. Ok so it's not that far away and it's not that little - but a girl can dream! On a side note... you've probably noticed that I tend to mention parts of Canada in my stories - it's done on purpose and it's my attempt at emerging our country from the depths of the American shadow that tends to loom over us - true story!

I'm 20 years old (emphasis on the word old - unfortunately) and I'm currently in my third year at a university in New Brunswick attempting to major in, you guessed it, English of all things. I have an undying passion for writing, but I've decided that I don't have the patience or the much needed talent to make a go of it as an author in the real world, so here I am, attempting to entertain the masses via fan fiction. I also try way too hard to be funny all the time, and I tend to write exactly how I talk... which is pretty embarassing, but my friends can vouch for it.

Hmm... oh yes! I'm a full-fledged, official couch potato of greatest proportions. I am addicted to television - but hey, the first step in fixing the problem, is admitting that you have one, so I like to think that I'm already halfway cured! Charmed had been a fav of mine since I was like 12... and although I don't think that the series was as good after season three, I shamefully admit that I shed a few tears during the series finale. Obviously my favourite sister is Phoebe (hence why all my stories are based around her), although Piper follows in at a close second. And as for the Charmed men - there ain't no other like Cole Turner - and not just because Julian McMahon is a sex god who's presence on screen makes your spine tingle and your heart skip a beat (woah a lil too much info there I apologize!) - but because his character was so dark and provocative and brought so much drama to the Halliwell family.

As for the other shows that I am currently addicted to, they include: Weeds (all about drugs but it's absolutely hilarious), Trailer Park Boys (go see the movie!! I literally peed myself laughing), Desperate Houswives (really, who doesn't love this show), Grey's Anatomy (again, who doesn't love this show and props to Sandra Oh - Canadian!!), ER & House (apparently I've got this thing for hospital shows)

Fav Movies: My Fair Lady, A Star Is Born, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Almost Famous, Seabiscuit, Napolean Dynamite, Beauty and the Beast

Fav Actors: George Clooney, James Dean, Clive Owen, Jamie Foxx, Zach Braff & Adam Sandler

Fav Actresses: Audrey Hepburn, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Judy Garland, Kate Hudson & Megan Mullally

I'll leave all of you with one of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite sitcoms EVER, Will & Grace (wow I think I went a lil overboard with the word "favourite" and ps. I cried for the last episode of this show too... I am really too emotional!!):
