Important Message Regarding Updates

Yeah, uh, the short version is that they won't be happening.

This announcement is long in coming. For those of you who checked out my LJ, you would have noticed that I rarely (if ever) talk about my HP fic anymore. That is because I'm not writing any, least of all "Sick as a Dog". Why? Because I'm less than enthralled with the HP fandom right now (although that will probably change with the release of HBP), and also because SaaD, despite being adored by a great number of people, is a really craptastic piece of fanfic. No, really. In any case, I cringe whenever I look upon it, and although I planned the whole thing out and promised multiple times to finish it, I really can't bring myself to write it anymore.

I am so, so sorry to those of you who enjoyed SaaD and routinely (and politely) asked for updates. I'm letting you guys down, and that's really horrible of me, but I think this is a better alternative than continuing to write something half-heartedly; 'not with a bang, but a whimper' sort-of thing. Thanks again to all who enjoyed my writing here on ff.net!
