Caroline had always sort of assumed that if she were ever to run away from her own wedding, she would run straight to Klaus. Caroline Forbes has been kidnapped by a psychotic hybrid, Klaus. And is being held captive until he gets the coffins of his family members back and revenge on Stefan. Yet Caroline begins to feel sympathy towards the lonely hybrid. Beginning with hate.

He eventually does take her to Rome, and they wander through the cobblestone streets, hand in hand. He offers her the world, and she takes it.

Elena comes back to Mystic Falls after being compelled to stay away and meets the Salvatore brothers all over again. COMPLETE

Caroline and Klaus end up in a deserted island, but things aren't what they seem. They soon learn they must rely on each other if they want to stay alive. Emotions run high and matters of the heart come into question. Rated M for later chapters.
