OK, let’s start with the basics. 16, F, England. I guess that covers what most of you want to know, but I ask those who wish to find out more about the main authoress of these stories to now read on…

I’m an only child, but there’s two cats wandering around my house that my parents treat like their other children (you think I’m kidding? My dad calls one of them ‘son’, I feel loved). Hobbies are singing (not in public, I’m not that good), reading books (favourite author is Terry Pratchett, matches my sarcastic-in-the-extreme sense of humour) and fanfics, writing letters. I have loads of pen- and e-pals and am always on the lookout for more. Listening to music (more on that later), shopping (preferably with other people’s money), playing badminton and hanging out with my friends.

I’m a bit, scratch that, a lot, of a musicaholic. I’ve always got the stereo or the radio or my Discman on, and I’m always singing, friends get irritated cause I don’t even realise I’m doing it a lot of the time. Mostly an R&B type person but with a pronounced rock chick side that most people don’t expect. I’m not a huge pop fan, BSB are the main exception. My CD collection is many and varied, including, along with my 27 BSB CDs, Boyz II Men, Joe, TLC, Destiny’s Child, Vertical Horizon, Creed, 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20, Next, Manau, Santana, Blink 182, Crazy Town, En Vogue, Savage Garden, Pink, Ginuwine and, dare I say it…NSYNC *ducks* among others. Having said that, I’ll listen to pretty much anything, but only for limited periods if it’s something that grates on my nerves.

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but my top programs are Buffy, Blackadder (kick ass!), Roswell, Just Shoot Me, Red Dwarf (funny as hell program for those in the US, etc that might not have heard of it) and I freely admit that I’m an MTV addict. Oh, and I’m a history buff too, so I watch the History Channel quite a bit.

I love fanfiction cause I can be anything I want to be and do anything I want to do. I’m not a model type size 4, but when I write I can be as thin and pretty as I wish I was. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the Wicked Witch of the West or anything, but long blonde hair and blue eyes doesn’t always equal Hollywood actress gorgeous. I’m not the type of person who likes to stand out from the crowd a whole lot, says the girl currently sporting blue hair (think Christina A’s Come On Over vid, but blue, oh and I love really long fake nails too), but in my stories I can be as outgoing on the page as I’m kinda not in real life. God, I’m making myself sound like a horrendously ugly wallflower here, but you get what I mean. Gotta love fiction!

For those interested, here’s a little of my BSB background. I first became a fan in ‘94/’95-ish and started to get really obsessed in about ’97. From there it has got steadily worse, ask any of my friends or family. I first got into fanfics in ’99 and by now I must have read well upwards of 450, most of my time on the Net is devoted to reading. I’m running out of decent ones now, so any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Some were so bad I decided even I could do better, my attempts at which can be found on this site.

Brian is my fave BSB, but Kevin is closely creeping up behind him. Anyone who cannot see the man’s Adonis-like qualities needs their eyes checked, I mean, have you seen him in a suit?! (NB – black suits are my big weakness, especially with tall, dark and handsome men in them!) Must be something in the water in KY that turns out loads of gorge men, that combined with a gene pool that can produce Brian, Kevin, Harold, Jerald Jr and Tim is a force to be reckoned with. Anyway, I digress.

Fave songs are IWITW, AIHTG, MTT, IYKWIK and so on and so forth (sorry about all the abbreviations, I’m too lazy to write them all out). Actually, I like pretty much all of the guys’ songs, and on balance the best BSB album for me is Millennium.
