Hi, I'm not too good at Profiles. So I'll just tell you a little bit about my self.

I was born Sept. 1, 1972 -- if you want to know my age, do the math. :-D I am a mother of two. My son was born 7-10-1998 and my daughter was born 11-25-2000. My husband was born 11-20-1965. I married the love of my life on 3-26-1994. (I'm in the USA so my dates are the month the day and then the year.)

On my website I have pictures that go with With Arms Wide Open. It will be a multi-Book fic. I will post each Book seperate. And each Book covers a season.

I read Buffy/Angel stories where Buffy and Angel end up together. They may not start off together, they may start off with other people, they may be with other people during the fic but they have to have a happy Angel ends up with Buffy ending for me to be happy. (Oh, I'm not too fond of adultry stories.) I'm not into overtly or graphic slash. If it's cannon, then I don't want to read anymore than what I would see on the show. It's just not my cupa tea. As far as the supporting cast goes romanticly, they can be with whoever. Just as long as Buffy and Angel are together at the end and are happy and there is not graphic slash -- or at least the slash part I can skip without missing important parts of the plot.

I am also starting to get into the Superman (movievers and Lois & Clark: the New Adventures of Superman verse) fanfics. In this universe, I want Lois and Clark; Lois and Kal-El, Lois and Superman to end up happily together. While I am waiting on my betas for With Arms Wide Open, I am writing a Superman fic for the 12 Days of Clois over at Live Journal.

If you wish to beta my story With Arms Wide Open and you are of legal age to read NC-17, please email me at ladymackenzie@gmail.net My betas are just being too slow. They have had Chapter 6 since I posted Chapter 5 and I have not heard a word from them. (Well I have one and I will be keeping this beta.) And then to top it off when I sent out an email last night, one of them had a auto-responce saying that she was on vacation until the 14th of this month. No word to me that she was gpoing out of town. Granted she doesn't need my permission, but when I have been waiting on her to beta a chapter for me for 3 months it would be nice for her to email me and let me know that she is going on vacation and won't have computer access for a couple of weeks. I feel that I have been very understanding and patient with my betas. I have 216 pages, 86,138 wordds typed up and more in a notebook to type up. I have all of Book One, Most of Book 2 and Half of Book 3 typed up. The only reason only 5 chapters are posted is because my betas have only sent those chapters back to me.

What I need in a beta, some one who is good in English gammar, someone who can point out typos (Where periods should be commas, simple spelling mistakes that spell check won't catch: ex. to instead of two or too; or passed instead past etc.). Someone who can help me make sure that the characters are in character given the new universe that I have established. Someone who can help me come up with ideas for the story that I am having trouble with (Re-write of Season 3 mainly). And some one who can get a chapter back to me so that I can post either every week or every two weeks.

I received three new betas and Chapter 6 should be up sometime this week. However, I just recieved word from Tani, who had been writing the NC-17 scenes for me. She has had a family emergency and does not have the time to write the NC-17 scenes for me. Is there anyone out there would be willing to do this for me? I cannot write smut, no matter how hard I try.

P.S. Chapter 6 should be up sometime before next Friday. Probably Tomorrow afternoon, but no promises on that. We have a cub scout event to go to tomorrow and then church on Sun, Tues, and Wed. So it might as late as Mon before I get the chapter posted.

Hello all, Just a quick note to say that I have been sick and I am now back. Sorry I went MIA. I am now well enough to get back on the computer and write. I have sent Chapters 7 and 8 off to the betas. Not sure when they will get it back to me though. As soon as I get it back and get it corrected, I will upload it. I have requested that they get Chapter 7 back to me ASAP so I can hopefully post it sometime this next weekend or early next week.

I am waiting on one more beta to get back to me and then I will make the corrections and then post Chapter 7. I just went back and corrected the scene deviders so that my story is more compatable with this site. If there is a chapter that does not have scene deviders, please let me know so that I correct it.

I am still waiting on my betas to get Chapters 9-11 back to me. Betas, please, get these chapters back to me. I have fans asking for them. Please, please, please, one of you have all these chapters that I sent to you. I have had a hard drive crash and have lost these chapters. I have the other stuff that I have typed up, but I made some changes to these chapters that only you ladies have. So I cannot send them back to you. I need these chapters ASAP. Thank you. (Along with teh harddrive crashn I lost my email address book with all my beta's emails.

One of my betas got me the chapters that I sent to them, so I have them and all I have to do is wait on the other betas to get me their beta work back to me. I have been trying to contact Charlotte Thomas. The email I have for her is no longer valid. If anyone knows her, please tell her to send me a message through my profile so I can get her new email. She is one of my betas. My email has changed since the last time I talked with her, so she might have tried to email me at my old email. Anyway, the new email is regestered with fanfiction.net so she can get it from here, I think. Or she can just message me. Thanks,

Book One of With Arms Wide Open has been finished and is now posted both here and at my website where you can view banners and pictures for the story.

With Arms Wide Open Book 2 Chapter 1 is at the betas right now, but I'm having internet connection problems right now. As of right now, there are no NC-17 scenes in Book 2 and I have 7 chapters written already. I still have to go back and tweak and add in a few things though. And I do want an NC-17 scene in Chapter 7. And there are places in a couple of the other chapters for a NC-17 scene. But please know that the chapter numbers can change. I might go back and add in a chapter or two. But as of right this minute, I have no desire to add any more chapters before Chapter 7. I wrote Chapter 7 before I even started to post the first book. I'm ready for feedback on it. But it is very emotional and tramatic for all the characters. And I want some comfort sex. Email me if you are interested in being a guest writer for a NC-17 scene in Book 2. If you want to write the comfort sex, let me know and I'll let you read what I have so far and then you can tell if you still want to write the comfort sex or not. I will give warning at the end of Chapter 6 about Chapter 7. If it is too much for you to read, then don't worry, I will recap it at the beginning of Chapter 8.
