He searched for things ahead,

Which of course he’ll find.

He found the golden city,

But it is not what you expect,

No bigger than a grain of sand,

Nothing but a speck.

Eldorado, O Eldorado!

Where do your golden gates lie?

It lies in the reddish-gray hills of Neverbeing,

Find the valley of hills with knolls of grayish tint,

And the lone person who might have a correspondent within.

And that is enough for hints...

The great-granddaughter of the original Alice is cast into Wonderland, which has changed for the worse. The Jabberwocky has taken over, and the rebel Imagineers desperately try to keep Jabberwock's officials from capturing Alice. Despite her efforts, the Jabberwock's two top generals, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, seize her and take her back to their master.
To everybody's surprise, he is not planning to kill her...

The Shadowlands
Alice in Wonderland : Adventure/Action/Romance : Completed
The sequel to 'Twisted'. Alice is pulled into Wonderland once more. Now free of the Jabberwocky, the country is slowly getting back onto its feet, but Alice is then sent to the Shadowlands to comfort her suicidal 'father'. He isn't so willing to release her, however. When she finally escapes with the help of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, she settles down to marry Hatter and raise the children that she bears for him. Possibly the worst story I have ever written, because I did not think it through enough.

(Currently 782 pages on my personal computer. (12 font, double space.))
A story based on 'Little Red Riding Hood' although not restricted to that one fairy tale. Also included are characters (or references) from 'Snow White', 'Cinderella', 'Hansel and Gretel', 'Humpty Dumpty', and some of the Mother Goose Rhymes.
This will take place a year or so after Red's first and macabre encounter with the Wolf. She is kidnapped by the monster, only to find that he may not be as cold-hearted and monstrous as she remembers.

Why this is dead: The file got wiped. All 800 pages. I almost died in fury and grief. I have the story in my head, but the effort to write it again... *sigh*

Rewriting Twisted and the Shadowlands. I'm ironing out some inconsistencies in 'Twisted' while nearly completely rewriting 'The Shadowlands'.
