I:

Am old enough to have a life and am nerdy enough not to do anything with it.

Have a curious tendency towards doing everything in red ink.

Like cornflakes. And cranberries. And hot tea.

Dislike bashing. Of any sort. Because that’s just not cool.

Am in complete and utter awe of those who write 100-word drabbles. Or 20+ chapter long epics. And EECS majors. You know who you are.

Refuse to update on regular basis. If at all. To prevent accidentally and unconsciously picking up something from a story that I read, I stop reading fanfiction temporarily when I start writing and don't begin reading again until I'm done with the story, and that kind of withdrawal never bodes well for my mental state.

Am a self-admitted fandom nomad as well as an incurable site-lurker (lurk lurk)

Am a neat-freak with horrendously bad habits (read: slob)

Dislike badfic, spelling errors, and people who make established straight into queer and established queer into straight—because two
guys or two girls can’t be just friends, and because two guys or two girls can’t be “just friends”. UNLESS IT IS WELL-WRITTEN.

And I have a squatty mini potted cactus…upon which my roommates claim I dote as a last-ditch procrastination effort; it’s named
“porky-sabot(t)en” and if you get the joke, kudos on your Japanese conjugation.

And while I know my writing needs improvement, I won’t “ZOMG!1!1, fangrrl, mai writing is t3h sux0rz don’t read I’m so ashamed etc.”
because that’s just stupid; if I didn’t want you to read it, I wouldn’t have posted it in the first place. However, the purpose of my posting it is
partially for your pleasure, mainly for mine, and mostly to receive con-crit. Mindless flaming will be duly ignored.
