A powerful new akuma engulfs College Francoise Dupont, transporting the students into a "Dungeons and Dragons"-style realm. The students must use their wits, their newly-acquired skills, and teamwork to defeat the "boss" and escape the dungeon. Luckily, Chat Noir and Ladybug are there to help! Ladybug and Chat Noir are nearing a year of working together, a year in possession of incredible superpowers, and a year of being oblivious to the fact that they spent more time together out of their masks than in them. As some relationships are given the chance to change, others are tested, fated either to grow stronger from the pressure of pain or doomed to crumble beneath it.

Miraculous Day marks the anniversary of Ladybug and Chat Noir's first day on the job, so the students dress as Paris' beloved superheroes. A special dance is held for Ladybug and Chat Noir the same night where the two heroes must attend. But how will Marinette and Adrien handle their double-lives on and after Miraculous Day? The highlights of her day are the emails sent by her mysterious pen pal, Chat Noir. That is, until handsome model Adrien Agreste starts swinging by the bakery after hours. But how is he to know the Ladybug he loves is standing right in front of him?

An akuma hands Marinette a love potion for her to use on her crush. Marinette, of course, declines the offer. But in the process of Chat Noir trying to protect her, thinking the potion is something dangerous, he breaks it and ends up inhaling the fumes from it, and Marinette happens to be the first woman he sees. "Oops?" The akuma offers.
