Greetings!

Well I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Alyssa, and that is all you get. I'm 29 years old, and an all around nerd. I'm a bassist, writer, gamer of all types (console, computer, tabletop, cards, board games, LARP you name it, I probably do it), artist, and run of the mill jack-of-all-trades - skilled at many things, mastery over none. My end goal is actually to move to Japan and teach English as a second language. I just enjoy philosophy.

As far as my fanfics will work, they will probably cover a broad range of categories. Little will probably done in TV, movies, or musicals - I tend to enjoy the storylines as they are, and not many of them provide really room for a good fanfic setting (though that's becoming easier these days). Most of my fanfics will probably be on games, with some going into the anime/manga category. I joined fanfiction.net in 2006, and since then have started and deleted two stories, for two reasons. The first story was based on Lord of the Rings, and was revolving around Legolas and Gimli after the books ended, but I lost interest for some reason that I cannot remember. My second story was an OC story written in regards to Warcraft, specifically in its newest iteration, WoW. After two deployments, I came back to FF and... well, while I still remembered the storyline behind it, I have been out of touch with the fluff of the setting, and felt uncomfortable writing on the story any more. In addition, my writing ability has advanced considerably in the past three years, and I was, frankly, appalled at how bad that style was.

Having come back 6 years later, I think I am going to continue FF:T and then move on elsewhere.

And so, I have returned, with my flagship story being an OC story set in Ivalice, the realm for Final Fantasy Tactics, FFXII, and Vagrant Story. I have a few other ideas, but we will see how it blossoms out from there. Many of my fanfics will likely be rated, at a minimum, T, and probably will be mostly on the M side, as I tend to be very graphic in a multitude of situations. Action will almost always be involved, and romance is a guarantee in any of my stories.
