Author has written 6 stories for Persona Series, Devil May Cry, and Bayonetta. Hello. My real name is a literal translation of Emiya Shirou into the base languages upon which my real name draws its etymology from. Do tell me how I'm doing as an author. I want to have an opinion aside from my own and my friend's. In other words, I'm begging you. Please please please review. I need the feedback - I need to hear what you think about my writing style to be able to progress as a writer, and be able to write better fiction. The name Self Insert is somewhat a self-imposed challenge, really. I just want the reader to think that it is indeed my self-insert in the stories and still think that it is in fact a pretty good story. Also, Persona 5 has been announced, which is nice. My PS3 is good for something at least. I am sorry, but I really don't have the time to replay a time-intensive game like Persona 3 these days, so for now, Jester is discontinued. I might get back to it one day, but really, the chances of that are about as high as an adult elephant can jump. As for my Devil May Cry / Bayonetta Crossovers - it's really my attempt at canon-welding the two of them. Genesis of the Legendary Witch is the story that I thing will really tie both universes together. I am of the firm belief that the two do somehow share the same universe (I think Kamiya Hideki left himself a window to DMC just in case anything happened). In fact, I have a whole story planned out but really, I won't tempt you further - you'll do that yourself, and leaving no hints should at least alleviate the pain. I will continue to write it as long as I have the time, but between med school and other priorities, I can give you no guarantees. (Though reviews are highly encouraging to me!) But as I've said in my last post to Genesis of the Legendary Witch, I can't continue further without getting more canon. I am aware that I've broken some canon by not having Sparda serve Mundus before defecting, but in-story we can put that down to the details being lost to history. There's a reason they're legends. If legends were well-documented I don't think they'd be legends. They would lose their mystique. Also, please don't message me with story requests. I don't like letting people down with false expectations. I don't do story requests. Thank you. UPDATE AS OF 2016/08/24: I have not stopped planning out and writing Genesis of the Legendary Witch. The broad strokes are all done in my head, I just can't paint finer without the canon materials as outlined in the last chapter. I am still looking for a way to buy them. Thank you to everyone who followed and favorited my works. I won't let you down. I'm still on it. |
