MAY 2012 UPDATE!!

So sorry for yelling and bolding and underlining, but I haven't been here for a while and I thought it was appropriate. I feel like I went for this massive walk and got lost and probably wandered around until some figurative authority picked me up in his figurative checkered Holden and drove me home again. Well I'm baaaack. Sort of ready to get started. Or restarted. Whatever. I've got lot's to catch up on. Writing, updating, reading, updating which means writing. A little bit more writing. Reviewing because I'm a sucker for reviewing and...yeah. SO!!! In my thoughtfulness I am to update things in an updately manner.

Hard to Forget: I have every intention of carrying this on. Going forward I am...probably going to do that very soon. I really want to take the first three chapters and re-write them due to their un-beta'd state, but the goal is to get the next chapter updated asap. And pray to goodness all them goodly readers haven't deserted HTF like I would've. INCLUDING MY BETA'S!!!! Oh lawdy if I were my beta I'd be angry...;)

Hearts and Bones: Again, intention is there but slow on the making. I hit a brick wall over half way through and haven't really couraged myself up enough to post what is there and deal with the rest when I deal with it. I have my fingers crossed.

Some other fic that isn't posted but is 90% complete: Here's an interesting one. In response to a challenge I started a 're-write an episode' fic which I, like a true procrastinator, didn't finish in a reasonable amount of time, and now I have a re-written ish episode wherein I've slowly lost the whole point of it. But I will no doubt throw it up here soon because it's there and it's been fostered over long enough.

I is currently enduring a faze of reading time travel fics. Naruto of course. Despite the repetition of some plots and how most times they travel back to the good ol' genin days, I can't get enough of them. Just a few that I'm following and you might want to peer into because, oh, they are awesome!! :D

Teach Your Children Well - AvocadoLove (As one who usually swings towards Naruto-centric time travel fics, this one is a refreshing change. Here it is Kakashi who goes back and starts to change things.)

The Lives Worth Saving - cywsaphyre (Naruto-centric, because I'm typical like that. But really, some original stuff in here. Which can be hard to find due to the whole 'plots being thrashed' thing in this category. And the fic as a whole has this amazingly dark underlying theme to it that has the readers emotions flying everywhere all at once.)

For the Love of my Friends - Foxie-sama (And really, who loves time travel fics and HASN'T come across this one. Despite the whole 'not going to be continued' thing. That part sucks to high heaven.)

And these are only a few I'm currently absorbed in. The writing, in all cases, is superb. the concepts, especially in The Lives Worth Saving, are as original as I've seen in a time travel fic. Some really awesome plot lines and ideas. GO AND READ THEM FELLOW TIME TRAVEL READER LOVERS!!!

April 2013 Update

This cycle of into-it-out-of-it is getting pretty tiring no? But anyway, the approach of winter seems to do wonders to ones moods towards writing, it seems. So here's the plan insofar as the present motivates me to say.

Hearts and Bones: Is under re-construction. Because I understand just how much of a writing fail it currently is. The mistakes are ripe and extremely annoying to have to think about. And I figured I need to figure out what's actually happening in that story again. Because knowing these things sometimes can help.

Hard to Forget: Is slowly killing me. But the intention to attempt finishing is there. It will forever be my fanfiction goal. When it's finished, I will probably have a party for myself. And all those equally frustrated as I at my inability to write it regularly can be invited.

That 'Some other fic that isn't posted but is 90% complete': Yeah. Haven't touched it since it reached that 90% stage. It's there though, and I'm tempted to write up some rushed, not even thought about a lot ending if only to get it off my hard-drive. But then that would irritate me too so... I don't know. =_=;;

Hakuouki: This category, this anime, those characters (namely just one: Kazama Chikage) create in me a need to write for this fandom. Roses are Red is completed, but under the table, I'm hoping to round it of in general as a short-fic. Which means there are possibly a couple chapters more I'd like to throw at it. All of this is dependent upon my ever changing whim. oh dear.
