Sasu/Saku. From the beginning of their relationship, Sakura never failed to thank Sasuke for every little gesture that he made. It took a while for him to realize that the reason she did it was because, the moment she accepted to be his wife and give him all that she had left to give, she honestly never expected to receive anything in return.

It is then that he realizes he loves her, when he sees her hands covered in blood, hears the wailing of a newborn, and she is hurt beyond repair. Whereas Sasuke's hands have mostly brought death and destruction, Sakura's have the talent of bringing life into the world. This is their path to recovery.

It's with some annoyance that she notices he's got his feet propped up on the arm of the sofa without having first removed his shoes.
