Place of birth: Sheffield, Yorkshire, England

Blood type: O (why the hell would you want to know that? I dunno. :P)

My personality: I'm usually quite a quiet and reserved person, especially around people I don't know that well. Some people think I'm very difficult and not easy to talk to, but my friends say I'm a good listener. This next bit is hard to say without conjuring images of debilitating mental illness - I suffer from manic depression. Yeah, I can live with it - once you've had it for three years you learn to regardless.

I'm a former native of Sheffield and Rochdale, the latter of which being the God-forsaken armpit of the United Kingdom. It's like the bit under the rim of a toilet where all the limescale forms. My parents divorced when I was seven, and I now live with my decidedly scary family - mother, step-father and my two siblings, a brother and sister. Both are younger than me. Oh yeah, and my cat Hemingway.

I don't consider myself good-looking, but I'm not too bad. I'm actually not going to go into my appearance here, for many different reasons. If any of you ever meet me in real life, I think you'll be disappointed. As Solid Snake once said, the real me is no match for the legend.

Stuff I like:

Music: I'm not going to list all of this here, because the list's longer than my arm, but I can state what I don't like (hip-hop, R&B, pop, and emo rock.) I tend to latch onto songs more than whole albums, and I have a pretty wide spread of interest. Yeah, I bet YOU don't know someone who listens to Killing Joke and the Smashing Pumpkins, do ya? Huh? (Don't answer that if you don't want to.)

Food: I could eat cookie dough ice cream 24 hours a day. I absolutely love the stuff. I also like dry roasted peanuts, pizza (topped with pepperoni, red and green peppers, mushrooms, black olives and jalapeno chillies), and most Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine. (Over here in England we don't have our own cuisine, we steal things from everyone else.) Oh - did I forget to mention chocolate? ;)

Games: Half-Life 1&2, the Metal Gear Solid series, Max Payne, Gran Turismo 4, F.E.A.R., Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Hitman 2, Counter-Strike, and of course Final Fantasy. And Resident Evil 4, which I only got recently but is truly ace.

Movies: Again, lots of these, but most notably Blade Runner, Die Hard, anything directed by John Woo, The Matrix, Sin City, Desperado and Pulp Fiction. And Leon! Now there's something coincidental - something French which is actually damn good!

TV: I don't watch much of this, but I always watch the Simpsons, Family Guy, Scrubs, 24, My Name Is Earl and House. And Grey's Anatomy is pretty good, too. Huzzah for hospital dramas!
