I love writing poetry, not rhyming though, sometimes I can get really deep, here is one of me poems..

The Rainbow Catchers

You said that friends last forever,

I whisper to you my deepest, darkest secret,

You promise it will never leave your mouth.

I believe you.

You said there is a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow,

We sprint up and down the streets chasing rainbows,

Searching for our lost riches.

We find it.

You said without each other we couldn’t survive,

I trip on the curb and scrape my knee on the rough concrete,

You run inside to get me some healing cream and a band-aid.

You saved me.

You said that snow is “God’s soft pillow,”

We run outside in our toasty mittens and warm scarves,

Angels are hovering over us, speaking the true meaning of friendship,

They bless us.

You said that you’ll “be right back,”

I sit alone for hours waiting for your return,

I glance outside to see you gossiping with “them.”

I weep to you.

As the bright day fades into the cold dark night,

I sit inside watching and wait,

You wave goodbye to “them” and walk home,

You never said it was over.

Most people as a very positive person, I always see the best in people and in myself, I am the exact opposite of insecure. Only very few people have seen me cry, I am a very strong and sometimes insensitive person. My favorite color is pink since it is very girly, sweet, and bubbly. I LOVE the television shows That 70's Show (I actually cried when Jackie and Hyde broke up) and Friends (Monica and Chandler forever.) I face writers block way to constantly and over use commas, I have NO IDEA WHY. Like almost every other girl in America, my favorite book is Twilight and my favorite movie is The Devil Wears Prada. I cannot stand people who copy other people or get to sesitive about everything. My favorite food is chicken parm and my favorite musicals are Mamma Mia and Wicked. My favorite singer is Taylor Swift, I adore every song on her album Fearless (especially White Horse.) I have never seen the musical Rent but my friend who is addicted to it sings songs from it all the time, my favorite songs from it are Light my Candle and Take me or Leave Me. Other than that I'm pretty boring so yah... enjoy.
