It's been two months since they defeated the nogitsune, two weeks since he finally asked out the girl of his dreams, and two minutes since his world fell apart. [or: Lydia ends up in the hospital and Stiles thinks it's his fault.]

Lydia takes some time apart from Stiles to grieve their friends deaths and figure out her feelings for the brown-eyed boy, only to come back to find another girl had swooped in and won his affection. In the wake of all that had happened, everyone was having trouble sleeping, which was why Lydia found herself on the Stilinski's front porch at two in the morning. In the end they did what broken people do: band together and try to make each other whole again. Stydia one-shot, though it can be read as gen if you don't ship it. "No matter how well Scott knew her, he could never have imagined how she truly felt. He could never have anticipated – let alone understood – how, while she desperately wanted to see Stiles again, she just couldn't let herself be borne back so abruptly into the past. He feels something in his heart break and he tries his best to shrug away the suspicion that something more is happening between them and it shouldn't be any of his business.

A Stydia drabble. A while after Allison's death. Neither of them have been sleeping. It's 5:28, and Lydia is so damn tired but so awake that she doesn't think about anything else but getting to him.

The sequel to "She Looks So Perfect", as per request by the wonderful ShadowsOnTheMoon. This time it's from Lydia's POV, still in season one-ish. Inspired by the song "With You" by Jessica Simpson.
