So, I'm new here as you can tell by the lack of absolutely anything associated with this account floating around in the literary ether, apart from the account itself. Obviously. I'm currently planning an Artemis Fowl piece of fan fiction set between The Atlantis Complex and The Last Guardian and yes, it will be A/H. Because it’s just meant to be, whether Colfer admits it or not. The less said on that the better I think...

So, a little about me would be a supremely good idea would it not? Yes, I agree too; I'm clearly wonderful after all. *cough* So...

I'm currently an undergraduate student at Staffordshire University, where I'm studying Computer Gameplay Design and Production, which is insanely good fun, even if the work is thrown a little too hard and too fast for my own personal tastes. This coming from a guy who quite happily spent three months basically living at school just to do additional units in an IT BTEC because he simply wanted to learn more. I'll let you make your own judgements on that.

In my free time, I still learn things, because that's my kind of fun. At the moment, I'm taking my first tentative steps into the world of drawing while also learning to program in CPP and improve my absolutely awful mathematics skills. There's also the small matter of the fan fiction...

I've always had a deep love of reading and creative writing, but until now I've always been rather shy about creating a full story and presenting it to the world, but then there was also the slight issue of being unable to finish the first chapter of a story, or at times even plan one to completion. That has changed. I am prepared mentally and spiritually for the opinions of my work that are thrown my way, primarily because I intend to learn from them. Secondly because I figure it’s better to find out you’re not very good at something and then improve than never find out at all.

I'll try to keep everyone abreast of my developments as I move forward with the fan fiction, so feel free to follow my Twitter account, @PhoenixPyres, for updates to fanfiction and any other stuff I get up to, like Youtube videos, which I haven't done in a while admittedly. Updates to stories will most likely be irregular, mainly because I'm extremely busy at the moment and secondly because I'm a perfectionist. I do have writing fan fiction and checking my account here written into a timetable though, so there will be progress each week, I assure you.

So, with all this out of my system and you all thoroughly informed about me, would you care for a drink? No, you CANNOT have a Martini... *sigh*
