Norse Meets Greeks: On Hiatus

I am currently undertaking a grueling task of writing an epic series of stories with a huge variety of OCs to draw from. While I like stories with a huge pool of characters this is still a daunting task to pursue. So for now I’m only going to put up some OCs that are close to appearing in the story.

I have already mentioned Jonathan James Carter (JJ), Aaron Byrne, Nina Tau, and Gabriel Snow, but I’ll only mention one of them plus another who is closer to appearing in the story than the known one. I’ll post more on these characters’ background and appearance.

If you’ve already read Little Lion Man (completed), then you’ll already know Christian and Daniel Tanaka Cortez. I’m already going over their background and it’s part of the main story for the sequel. So I’m not going to go over their background and history, but here’s two of them that are soon to make an appearance.

Sean Olcan: The only way I physically describe Sean is by looking at a picture of pre-serum Steve Rogers from Captain America: The First Avenger. (Here’s a pic for your pleasure:

Sean is a five foot three inch, 109 lbs., asthmatic 29 year old with heart palpitations. He was born in Boston, but he has not been there in years. His accent only comes out in the company of close friends. His best friend is Gabriel Snow. He is physically weak, but he has all the psychological aspects of an Omega operative. He was recruited to become a “Record Keeper.” Sean has an eidetic memory, like Danny. Sean is loyal, brave and always keeps a level head. Sean wants to be a field agent, but his health issues makes him an ill candidate, even with the medication (from Danny) that keeps his conditions in check.

Sean isn’t a proud man, but he doesn’t like to be looked down on. It was one of the reasons Sean admires and respects Chris. Sean was assigned to Chris, for her to look out for him. It was mandatory for all Record Keepers to have a senior agent to look after them since, Record Keepers have sensitive information stored in their head.

Sean has basic self-defense and weapons training, but after being assigned to Chris, that knowledge has expanded. If he wanted to he could become an operative and has tried, but the higher ups refuse to change his status.

Sean views Danny as role model, because he sees himself in Danny. Both are shy and introverted by nature. He is envious of Danny, but he is genuinely proud of Danny’s accomplishments.

Aaron Byrne: When I think of Aaron, I think of Jeremy Renner from SWAT. Here’s a pic:

Aaron was born in Ireland and emigrated to the United States when he was younger. He was naturalized when he was 18 and joined the Navy. He moved on to the Navy Seals, and then recruited to Omega. He was Chris’ second protégé.

Highly extroverted and adaptable to any social environments, he is often selected for infiltration assignments. Psychological evaluations showed that Aaron has characteristics of a sociopath (Chris’ evaluations show this as well). Aaron is not loyal to the organization, but is merely biding his time until he leaves.

Aaron is a practical joker and is often seen as an ass, but the others know that Aaron means nothing by his teasing and know that he uses humor to hide his demons that plague them. It is his way of dealing with it. Aaron and Sean were in a relationship, but after the loss of Gabriel and Chris’ subsequent breakdown. They decided to end it, for fear of the same thing happening to them.
