Author has written 14 stories for Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, Rocky, and Supernatural. Hi, I thought I ought to tell you a little about myself and what I like to write. My name is Kira and I am 20. I am currently a college student so my writing happens when I have spare time. I've been able to keep up a 3.5 GPA average my first two years at college, and I'm looking to do the same in the upcoming semesters. I have really gotten into the Dukes of Hazzard. I love the tv show, I can't get enough of it, I love it so much. I don't like the movie that just came out though. I watched only a half hour of it and despised it. It defies all that the real Dukes of Hazzard means and stands for. I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings trilogy both the books and the movies. I'm hopelessly addicted to Tolkien, although I've never read LOTR fanfic. I don't intend to either. www.warofthering.net is the most awesome LOTR site out there. Go on and have a look or maybe even join us. We'd love ot have you. The Rocky series is a new love of mine. I really love the story of an undedog that comes out on top no matter how hard the trials may be. I hope to be able to write some stories that are good and bring people some fun and interesting thoughts. Bo, Kent Who? is completed and a sequel is in the works. "The Ghosts of General Lee." is a fic that I am very proud of. I loved writing it and it has touched me. It's my own version of that episode (which is my favorite one) What would happen if the Duke Boys actually died in that accident? Come on and have a look and tell me what you think about the story. "The Beginning" is all about little Bo who comes to the Duke farm and meets the Duke family after his parents die in a crash "Christmas Night" is about when Dukes both old and young come together to share a Christmas tradition that they've done since before any of them could remember "Gone" is one of my prides and joys. I really grew while writing it. Bo and Luke are running through the forest away from an unknown enemy. Will they live to see the morning? "Standing" is another one of my prides. It is short, but it packs a punch (quite literally). Favorite shows : Smallville, The Dukes of Hazzard, Survivor, House M.D., Animaniacs (yes i know they've been off the air for years but I still love 'em) Favorite Character: Rocky Balboa Favorite music: Oldies, soft rock, LOTR soundtracks, Josh Groban, country Hobbies: Karate, drawing, singing, writing Favorite foods: Chicken, fruits, pasta, veggies Favorite color: Blue Some favorite quotes: From the Dukes. Luke: Hey, if something can go wrong, you can be double darn sure it will. That’s Murphy’s Law. Bo: This guy Murphy, is he a uh… he a race driver? Luke: He must be. Everybody talks about him. Rosco: I’m comin’ right at ya Enos. Keep your eye on her tail! Khyeh khyeh. Enos: I sure will Sheriff. I just looove doin’ that. Bo: So I ain’t perfect. Just pretty. Daisy: Luke’s got that look in his eye again. Bo: And right after he gets that look in his eye he goes snap ‘I got it. Let’s go Bo’ and I get in trouble. Luke: snap I got it. Let’s go Bo. Bo: See what I mean? Luke: I learned something though Bo. A man ain’t truly been insulted ‘til he stood buck nekid in front of a woman ‘n she didn’t even notice. Bo: Nor care. Rosco: Good grief. I mean that man is mean. He’ll kick ya, and bite ya, and stomp on ya, an’ ‘n he’ll really hurt ya. Over. Daisy: I’m goin’. Bo: What? Daisy: And there’ll be no arguments fellas, because I’m already man enough ta spit. Bo&Luke: She’s goin’. Girl: Well I’ll be darned. Think one o’ your eyes is bluer than the other. Bo: Well yeah? Well it gets that way when it sees some’n’ it wants. Bo: Look Ma, no hands. Yahoo! Jude: I finally got it all figured out. Y’all ‘r’ all crazy. Bo: Do I look like a possum? Don’t answer that. Bo: Cooter said there’s three guys with shotguns Luke: uh huh Bo: You don’t need me. I’ll just take a nap. You can handle it. Luke: Left handed. Rosco: This is where they used to put the guy just before they hang him. Luke: Sounds perfect for ya Boss. Boss: Don’t give me sass Duke boy, I’m feelin’ testy. From Rocky: Rocky: You gotta be a moron... you gotta be a moron to wanna be a fighter. Rocky: What's so crazy about standing toe to toe with someone saying "I am"? Rocky: Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that! Rocky Jr.: Don't take any more chances out there than you have to. There's nothing more to prove, Pop! There's nothing more to prove! Reporter: Rocky do you have something derargatory to say about the champ? Rocky: Nothing is real if you don't believe in who you are! Rocky: During this fight, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change! Rocky: Going in one more round when you don't think you can - that's what makes all the difference in your life. |
