Well, lets see. My name is Michelle. I'm 28, from a small little town. I used to live in sunny California, but now spend almost half my year shoveling tons of snow. One day I will get out of this place!

I am a crazy little bookworm to the core. I think my perfect day consists of spending the majority of my time at a book store reading tons of books. People often ask me what genre of literature I like, but I honestly don't have a type. I think as long as the story is something that interests me, I will read almost anything!

Outside of reading, I love to hang out with friends. I'm a lover of the great outdoors. I can't get enough of outdoor activities. Mostly I like to hike and photograph the places that I find. I guess that is one good thing about living where I do now. There are an abundance of trails and so many places to explore and discover.

Number one in my life is my family! Nothing can ever compare to them. My mother is my best friend and confidante. I also have two brothers; one older, one younger. They are my world, and I don't know what I would do without them. I only wish we weren't separated by so many states!

I suppose I have always wanted to write, but I honestly don't think it's a good move for me. I'm too much of a perfectionist. I would end up getting in my own way. I think my art teacher said it best in college: "Art isn't a plan or a thought, it's a reaction or a feeling." I'm a classic over-thinker. I tie myself into knots trying to figure the best way for everything. It is very exhausting.

So, I guess I'm on here to seek out new material to read. Maybe one day I will dabble in writing. Who knows...
