In the library a child moves back and forth among the bookcases.

Small hands reach out to pull out a book, and then flips through a few pages.

Familiar phrases and scenes drift from the words.

The book is placed back however, and the child moves on.

Too Short

Too Long

Too Bland

Too Complicate

Too Silly

Too Serious

One by one books are taken out and then placed back much like the first.

Yet again the child pulls out another book, and flips through the pages.

This time the child resists the urge to flip some more pages, and doesn't put the book back.

Instead comes the long trip of lugging the book up the stairs.

Finally reaching the top of one of the libraries towers, the child places the book on a table.

The book is one of the few books placed there, all from distant parts of the library.

The child turns to return to the rest of the library,

until another book like the one's in the child's refuge

is found.
