Hi there! I'm wolfpack3422, I use this name on a lot of writing sites if you ever see it elsewhere.

I've just been going over my account and realized after all this time I still never put something on my profile. I think the original plan was "I'm just a reader, I don't need an account" which quickly became "These postings are awesome, I need to set alerts and favorites" that then grew to "I should start reviewing, people deserve it even if I can't critique well" and now somehow I've morphed to "Why on earth did I never put a single thing up here? Lame."

That said, it's very late and I've no idea what to tell you all (if anyone) so bear with, I'll try to fix it later. Also, I'm wordy, I try to be succinct but I suck at it, so just zero in on the italics if you want to get to the point.

About me: I hate this part, where you need to sum yourself up to faceless people, because I have no clue what you care to read and not read.

--I am currently 20 years of age, attending college for the 'better life' it's supposed to lead us to. I hope that doesn't sound cynical, I'm just a bit grumpy that money can put such a hamper on things. I do enjoy it, college that is... and well, money is pretty nice too since it lets you do things.

--I will not post writings (as of yet). I like to write but I've never done a story outside of school. I jot down ideas and paragraphs, I'll write poems from time to time, I dream/have a goal of writing a book someday. I suppose if I want to do that I ought to start with some short stories not required for a class.

--I was born and raised in the USA (still live here). While I love traveling and road trips, I don't really want to move from my location. I prefer to have a fixed homestead and travel outward on adventures. So far I've made it to Canada, Spain, and for one afternoon Africa. My top places have been and still are to visit Ireland and New Zealand for a time. Ireland is the top priority though, I can't wait to immerse myself in a culture and travel the country. I'd also like to trace my family back.

--I am learning Irish (yes, Irish is a language and my college teaches it, score!!). I consider this to be one of the cooler things about me (dunno if that is lame, but it's Irish and that just rocks in my opinion). I'm a wee bit proud to have a majority of Irish in my family ancestry. There is also a smidgen of German, Native American, and what I call 'hillbilly', because we don't know the details beyond some of them came from the hills. (no offense is meant if someone doesn't like the use of 'hillbilly' here)

--I enjoy volunteering quite a bit and am trying to involve myself more, move beyond the 'now and again' or 'school requires it' mode. I know talk is cheap, but I'm going to do it.

--I really like watching baseball and tennis. I used to play basketball and volleyball; I also attempted golf and baseball for a brief period. I'll watch most any sport though I must say few others will keep my attention if I am seeing it on TV rather than experiencing it live.

--I'm about to embark on teaching myself the harmonica, it's always been a dream of mine to be able to play.

--I can ride a unicycle and make balloon animals/things such as a dog on a leash or a sword and hat.

Beliefs: I'm not going to get religious on you. If you are religious in some way then that is great and I hope you never lose faith, because that is just a really tough situation.

--I'm a believer in friendship and sticking to your word. I know it is good to be cautious, but I do not like the idea of judging someone before knowing them. I like to think we're all connected on some level of friendship, whether it is passing faces on the way to a class, bumping into someone in a city or having those acquaintances, friends, and family. I never go back on a promise, if this situation really calls for it, I'll give my word and I'd rather be kicked with soccer balls by a professional team than let someone down.

--I hope people have the willpower and morals (in my opinion) to not cut someone down even if they think they have a reason to do so. I don't like when someone turns on another. -I may get furious with people, but I do my absolute best not to think the worst of them or cast about rumors and judgment.

--I hope people will consciously work to avoid slurs and insulting comments about others or even themselves. -I don't like seeing someone cut him/herself down or others in general statements as if they don't matter. If there is a person to take offense and feel worse because of it, it shouldn't be done.

--I do believe (and I will be perhaps ignorant here depending on views) and know that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. I believe people deserve their rights and if there is one major disappointment I have with my country, it is this issue. (I am not homosexual if you're wondering if that influences my view).

That's all I've got for now. Sorry if it was boring or contained nothing you cared about, hope something in my life was at least interesting.

--I came across this on another profile and almost fell over, I always told my friends 'weird is good, odd is bad' when they called me weird (such a compliment!) but apparently I was a little off
