Hey everyone,
Just posted chapter 8 of Misadventures in Ipswich, chapter 9 will be up soon. This next chapter will actually be up soon because it's part of that large mass of already written fic-age. So it'll be up soon. Believe it or not, but Misadventures in Ipswich is actually almost done. Because that fic is only going to the end of the movie. There are two sequels planned for that. DA and I are still working on plotting them out. As for KMTT, we're still working on the next Day, which will be up soon. We're probably going to post that next chapter before another Misad in Ipswich chapter because its already written. Either way, something new will be up soon!

A series of fics (that in no way relate) of two crazy women (Katie and Jenny) that end up in different movies or tv shows. These are humor fics, and yes, Katie and Jenny are Mary Sues or Mary Sueish. Don't like that? Well TOO FRAKKING BAD

Katie and Jenny's Misadventures: King Arthur: Knight's Misadventures in Time Traveling
Summary: The Misadventure that started it all. What happens when two high school seniors who are on spring break find a bunch of knights from the Dark Ages in their living room at 3am? Mass chaos.

The Crazy Philosophy of the Misadventures Fics:
As we have stated before, the Misadventures fics are unrelated, except for the characters, Katie and Jenny. The best way to explain the concept is to refer to Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' Trilogy. In the Trilogy, the main character Lyra stumbles upon different worlds similar to her world, but with slight differences. This is a similar idea for the Misadventures. The Misadventures fics all take place in different 'dimensions', but sometimes they can overlap. And they will. For example, in the KMTT misad, the characters run into a couple characters from the show Battlestar Galactica (or in this case, the Battlestar Galactica misad). All the Misadventures fics take place independently, but can sometimes run into other Misads, for example, a Katie and Jenny from one misad, and their fellow characters could easily run into a Katie and Jenny from another Misad. An example to explain that would be that the Katie and Jenny from the Covenant Misad will meet the Katie and Jenny from another misad at one point.

Also, there are two separate types of Misads. One type is where Katie and Jenny are 'thrown' into the universe the fic is taking place in, like what will happen in the King Arthur Misad where Katie and Jenny will be sent back in time to the time of the movie. And in KMTT, it is slightly opposite, where Arthur and the knights are sent from the 'movie world' to the future in the 'normal-ish world'. The other type of Misad is where Katie and Jenny are incorporated into the 'universe' that the fic is taking place. For example, in the Harry Potter Misad (coming soon), Katie and Jenny live in the Harry Potter universe, which witches and wizards exist, etc.

In all, the Misads are just a whole bunch of universes, and the 'edges' of these universes have a tendency to 'overlap' with other universes.
