Naruto/Akatsuki- Sasori Akasuna

Sasori is a missing-nin from the Hidden Village in the Sand who joined Akatsuki. He is also known as Sasori of the Red Sand and one of his symbols is a red scorpion (‘Sasori’ can also mean scorpion). Sasori’s parents died when he was very young, so his grandmother Chiyo cared for him. Chiyo taught Sasori puppetry jutsu, something Sasori became very adept at using. He was the craftsman behind many puppets used in Sand's puppet division even today, including Kankuro's Karasu, Sanshouo, and Kuroari. Two of Sasori's first creations were the puppet imitations of his dead parents, which he had tried to use to replace the affection of his real parents but failed because puppets can't imitate human emotions. Sasori eventually became very skilled at converting human bodies into puppets. Twenty years ago before the start of Naruto part II, Sasori left the village of Sand. Before Sasori disappeared, he kidnapped and killed the Third Kazekage of Sand, eventually turning him into one of his human puppets. Human puppets are especially deadly because they retain the chakra nodes of the previously living individual. This allows Sasori to manipulate the chakra and use the special abilities of the previously living person through the human puppet. At some point during that period, Sasori also converted his own body into a puppet. Because puppets have no chakra nodes, Sasori persevered and encased his heart in a special capsule that allows him to manipulate chakra through a puppet body. Over the years, Sasori has accumulated a vast human puppet collection. Supposedly it contains 298 puppets, each of whom was an opponent he defeated. To add to their deadliness, Sasori coats the multitudes of traps and weaponry installed into his puppets with his potent poisons.

Soul Eater- Black Star

A ninja and the meister of Tsubaki. He is exceedingly arrogant and loud-mouthed for an assassin, preferring to make a big entrance rather than to sneak up on his opponents, and tries to upstage anyone who gains more attention than he does. He frequently calls himself a "big" man destined to surpass God, thus driving himself to his physical limits and making him one of the most athletic students at DWMA. He is a skilled combatant even without a weapon, and has the power to utilize a technique called "Black Star Big Wave" to attack opponents with his soul wavelength. He is the sole survivor of the Star Clan, a family of ninjas who slaughtered for wealth until they were wiped out by DWMA, which took him in as an infant. He is oppressed by anyone who recognizes the clan's symbol, a star-shaped tattoo on his shoulder. Due to his obsession for power, some believe he will eventually descend down the path towards a kishin like his father. In the manga, he becomes a member of the elite meister unit Spartoí at DWMA. In the anime, Black Star participates in the battle against Asura alongside Maka and Death the Kid. He gets along very well with Soul.

Maka Albarn

The meister of the scythe Soul Eater and the main female protagonist. She is a young but dedicated student who takes after her mother, another prodigious meister. However, her relationship with her father Spirit (aka Death Scythe) is incredibly strained due to his constant flirtations with women, leading her parents to divorce. As such, Maka is obsessed with turning Soul Eater into a Death Scythe that will surpass her father. She makes a good team with Soul, but is prone to nagging and violent outbursts whenever Soul does something foolish. She also developed her own version of the reaper chop that has the same effect as the original but since she lacks Death's large hands she uses a book. When in danger, however, Maka does everything she can to keep Soul out of harm's way. Her skills as a scythe meister allow her to perform the Witch-Hunt Slashand Demon-Hunt Slash with ease when resonating with Soul, but when Soul is infected by black blood, Maka risks slipping into madness if they can't control it. She eventually develops the Anti-Demon Wavelength inherited from her mother which repels the effects of insanity. She is adept at Soul Perception, which allows her to detect souls and judge their strength; she even has the potential to sense witches' souls even when they suppress their magic. After turning Soul into a Death Scythe, Maka gains the ability to fly with the angelic wings offered by her Grigori soul. She is shown to have strong feelings for Soul.] In the anime only, Maka is shown to be part weapon, able to conjure scythes on her body during her fight against Asura after losing consciousness. In the manga, Maka has a hard time understanding music so she is jealous about Soul's love for it.

Hetalia- England/United Kingdom

The cynical, foul-mouthed, estranged mentor figure to America. He used to be a pirate before he settled down into his "gentleman" role. His most noticeable physical features are his thick eyebrows. England is also well-versed in black magic and can see mythical creatures that others can't, which causes the other nations to think of them as his hallucinations. He has a bad relationship with France, which has stemmed as far back as their childhood years.Though he is technically the United Kingdom (as evidenced by his flag), he is often referred to as simply England in most translations (though merchandise refers to him as UK, due to the Japanese word Igirisu being used for both terms). Himaruya has confirmed that he represents both the UK and England, he is officially known as the UK to other nations, with the exception of his brothers. He is mentioned to have an older brother representing Scotland, who regularly bullied him in their childhood. Two other brothers mentioned by Himaruya are Wales and Northern Ireland, with it being currently unknown what kind of relation Ireland has to him.
