Hi! My name is Goedele, but you can call me Oedie if you prefer (rhymes with 'goodie' or 'hoodie').

On this day I am 29 and 1 month old. My birthday is one of the most important things in my life. It reminds me of how much I love to live (#fuckdepression).

I used to read and write fanfiction for Harry Potter when I was younger, and as I'm from Belgium, I used to write in Dutch. I used to be quite shit at English, but now I've been living in the UK for about 6 years, so I'd say I've improved. I'm thinking of translating some of my Harry Potter one shots into English. Let's see if that ever happens. :)

Recently, I've been into reading Vampire Academy fanfiction. I'm a big Romitri fan, especially in fanfiction, though I may prefer Sydrian in the original ... but there isn't that much good Sydrian fanfiction, so I'm mostly getting my feels from amazingly well-written and thoughtful #Romitri. I think I like VA and BL because I'm a little bit like Rose, but I'm also a bit like Sydney (does that make sense?).

I'm still pretty big on Harry Potter too, though, except I don't read that much HP fanfiction anymore. But if I do, Lily and James are my thing. I have a huge crush on James Potter.

Reading is my life. I want to do more writing. I want to be more creative. I'm a philosopher, currently doing a PhD in philosophy (allegedly).
