I'm a long time geek, people, and pretty proud of it. I've loved all forms of horror, sci-fi, fantasy and the supernatural for as long as I can remember. I'm especially groovy on vampires! I got into Anime later on, 'cause I tell you, I'm not such a kid anymore...except, of course, in my heart, and I've been a faithful and greedy Anime geek ever since. My favourite characters? Kakashi, Sesshomaru, Byakuya, shall I go on or do you see the pattern? There's more--but I don't have enough room to list them all! Outside of Anime there's a crapload of books and comics and movies and tv shows that I'm crazy about, too, but I'll try to list only a few. 'Supernatural'; 'Being Human' (loving the U.S. version more, oddly); 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E'; any St. Germain book by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro; Bernard Cornwall's 'Sharpe' series, and last but not least, Harry (gasp, it's almost over!) Potter.?

One groove I've fallen into lately, and gratefully so, has been Methos and Duncan from "Highlander", the series. Wow! How did I not see that before?! They are beautiful together. Quisp does glorious fanfic on those two. Can't recommend those stories highly enough. Also, I love Snarry, and Destiel.

When I offer a critique on someone's work I will always try to be positive. If I see, or read, something that I think should be pointed out, I will; but in the end, I understand that every story is, in fact, a piece of the writer's inner self, and I will never flame you! Please, when reading something I've written, do the same.

Just recently became a yaoi fan-girl...I know, too funny, right?! So far my favourite couples are Kakashi and Naruto from that anime. Damn they are so right for each other! Misaki and Usagi from 'Junjou Romantica' (Oh, my god, they are so kawaii together!). I also like Miyagi and Shinobu--there's just something about Miyagi's voice! *hint hint* The first season of the anime was truly delicious, but the second season, while good was *sigh* not so lemony delectable. Ah, well... Other favs? Yuuri and Conrart from KKM...so wonderful together. If you like Con/Yuu please, please, please read Aozoran's awesome stories. They can't get any better! Also, "Full Circle" by Artemis NZ a series of ficlets that's so well written you'll swoon.

I'm not fond of yaoi for yaoi's sake. Meaning, I don't read yaoi that doesn't make any sense to me. I have this thing I call my S.O.D. meter--meaning my Suspension of Disbelief meter. If a pairing makes my S.O.D. meter soar into the red then I won't be reading that story. Sorry other yaoi fan-girls, that's just how my brain works. Having said that, I make no excuse for my love of Kakashi and Naruto from said anime. I don't care if they're lovers, brothers, or father and son, as long as there's love between them, it's all good. (Though I prefer the lover part the best!)

And, yes, I am working on some stories to publish here, so I'm not just a reader who sometimes writes worthwhile reviews. Problem is I'm a lazy-assed procrastinator and I'm not willing to make people wait while I fail to update. When they're done, I'll publish them, and then the people who deign to read my stuff will know that they're going to get the whole thing. I figure if I appreciate it when other author's do that for me, I should do it for others as well!

So I'm proud to announce that yes, indeed, I did post my first story: "The Understanding of Belonging." It's a Kaka/Naru...surprise! lol Please look below to read about it and click that title! A new review would make my day!

On the writing front I'm proud to confirm I'm co-authoring a story with Wishmaker96. He started it, and invited me to help him with it after a few chapters. Its called 'The White Rose', and you'll find in the 'Naruto' section. Just put Kakashi and Naruto into the character guidelines. If he hadn't asked, I probably wouldn't have done it. Check it out and leave a review, we'd really appreciate it. That story is now complete, and we've started the sequel. We've also written one other story, another lovely Kaka/Naru that has some angst to it called "Smile You Empty Soul". Check that one out, too!

'THORN OF THE WHITE ROSE' UPDATE: If you've come here looking for information on when Wishmaker96 and I will be completing that story I must regretfully tell you that I've been unable to get in contact with my writing partner for months now. So, I'd have to say, that 'Thorn of the White Rose' will be on indefinite hiatus until I can get in touch with him and figure what is going on.

I cannot continue with the story on my own without Wishmaker's approval, as it wouldn't be fair to my co-writer.

So sorry to have to tell you this.

UPDATE ON THE UPDATE: I have finally gotten word back from Wishmaker96. At this time we are having trouble coordinating time to write, what with RL and confusion over what the plot should be for this story. It is safe for readers to assume that TOTWR is on hiatus for now.
