Have you noticed in scifi movies there is a very twisted karmic scale? For example, if you are evil minon639 then the second the hero walks in your a goner. But the villian can survive anything the hero throws at him, only dieing when the plot line has been conviently summed up. And dont even get me started on the red shirts (what did they ever do?!). But perhaps I'm being unjust to script writers, I mean I would want my story to get a decent ending, there's nothing worse than loose ends in a story.
