To prevent strange ramblings, it's probably best to divide this up...

Basic: 20 years old, lives in Greater London, at UCL studying the ancient world, works in a bookshop. My life.

Interests: All over the place here- from nineteenth century and ancient literature to seventies and eighties rock and pop, foreign films and 'old' Hollywood' to sci-fi and anime. BasicallyI'm a glorified literate geek (although with better dress sense than most geeks and less sense of my own superiority).

Fiction: Again, very open. On a bit of a Stargatey turn at the moment-disturbingly so-need to get out more. Couple of good Firefly ones. Mostly sci-fi and usually through particular authors and who they recommend. Like to go for something a bit odd and see how they play with it- a good fanfiction writer can draw from any nuance of the work and then shape it into something original and interesting yet believable.

Thought of the day: Am I the only person who hasn't heard of Tribels (probably spelt wrong)? Honestly?
