Loki arrives on Thor's doorstep sporting a ferocious scowl and dripping with some kind of noxious green slime that smokes when it hits the welcome mat. He elbows his way in before Thor can even get completely out of the way, and Thor closes the door behind him, wondering just how dangerous it would be to ask for details. Inspired by the Funko/Marvel animated short "Time To Unwind."

Sometimes, Thor and Loki pull off Get Help without a hitch, giving Thor a good laugh about his brother's successful humiliation. Other times, Thor fervently despises ever creating it in the first place.

Episode tag for 12X22 "Who We Are." "Might not look like it, but we won today." There are two corpses in the room and neither of them is Dean, so that's exactly how it looks to Sam.

Missing Scene for 12X22 "Who We Are." There's clearly more to Dean's story, just as there is to his own. His brother's voice is tight with pain and exhaustion, his words mushing awkwardly together like speaking is more work than it should be. "Dean?" he prompts. A long pause, and then a stalling sniff. "Ketch showed up at the bunker."

The world around him falls and falls and falls apart. Somehow they always find their way back to each other. (Or: Loki's relationship with Thor is complicated, and always has been.)

Sam listens to the trees.

"If you were really here," Thor says with his painfully familiar half smile, "I might give you a hug." (A little expansion on one of the final scenes of Thor: Ragnarok, so RAGNAROK SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY)

Jeff has worked at the joint for a long time. He pours from the tap, exchanges glib jokes, and keeps an eye on that rowdy pool table in the corner. But in all those years, only two customers have really stood out to him and, surprisingly enough, they step through his doors within three months of each other. Stanford era. Outsider POV. One shot.

Depression takes many forms; makes itself known in many ways. It can be blaring: a neon sign that follows you as you walk and taints every one of your interactions with palpable pain. Or it can be quiet; insidious: painful in an even deeper and fundamental sense. The depression Sam falls into after Jess' death feels like it was a long time coming. S2. Six weeks after the demon-driven semi crashed into the Impala. Another wreck, and two equally wrecked brothers. Separated from Dean, concussed Sam is trying to make sense of the world . . . and not doing well.

Basically, Peter is 99.9 percent certain that Yondu is his dad. He's wrong.

When Dean goes missing on a hunt in New Orleans, John picks Sam up from Stanford to help look for him. (Pilot AU)

Sarah Rogers was three months pregnant when she donned trousers and stood on a cold Manhattan sidewalk with a sign that read 'Mr. President, Give Women the Vote,' while street urchins threw pebbles at her to the encouragement of the police. Or: Steve is familiar with the concept of rebellion.

The black lingering at the edges of Sam's vision recedes and Dean's twitching like he might be coming around, so Sam pulls himself to his hands and knees and quickly covers the space between them, dragging his tired body through a warm puddle of liquefied monster face and brains. Oneshot, no spoilers, no specific placement in timeline of show. Brief language, gore, and laughs.

"I don't have a Mom. I have a Dean."

"You and I have been fighting for the past three states and three schools . . . I want a truce." John and Sam agree to stop fighting for a while to give Dean a break. Pre-series. Two-parter.

When they are in pain, most children regress to an infantile state and instinctively, blindly, call out to their mother. Sometimes to their father. Dean doesn't. He calls for Sam.

And Then There Were None... tag story: Family doesn't mean blood, and blood doesn't mean family.

Hunters tend to see things others don't. It was just a matter of time before some of them pieced together who let Lucifer out.

It's not that he's invested in keeping them alive. The idea of someone else killing them first, though, is a bit offensive. Or: a funny pattern starts to emerge between dire situations involving various Avengers.

Dean's making the bunker home, but not just for himself.

The first time she met Dean was a few years before he was born, and she loved him from the moment he smoothed a rough, scarred hand over her hood.

Maybe it's the alcohol, or the city glittering beneath them, or Jess pressed against his side. Maybe it's just the relief of being finished with midterms. All Sam knows is that tonight, he can almost forget everything he's running from.

Jody knows their real father was some man named John Winchester, but to her they'll always be Bobby's boys.

Dean's nesting triggers happy memories of Sunday mornings when their mom was still alive. Sam, of course, doesn't have any of those memories.

Dean's sometimes a little insecure about his place in Sam's life. Especially when old Stanford buddies show up. And then things go wrong. Set around Season 1.

Pre-series. After a hunt finishes early, Dean finds himself in Palo Alto, checking up on how his little brother is adjusting to college life.

"Dad had that wild look in his eyes before he left like he didn't really want to go and abandon the two of you to this literal hellhole with nothing but the roaches and dust mites for company. Unsurprisingly, he left anyway." Gen. Pre-series.

Obi-Wan comes to grips with an eccentric fellow Padawan and negotiates acceptable terms of coexistence. A comedy of manners in very, very short scenes.
