I am a writer who needs to be "in the mood" to write. In the "zone" so to speak. The mood usually strikes me after I have a dream about a character from one of my favorite stories. Then I can easily get lost in my stories and write without stopping. It took a lot of courage on my part to share my only story so far. My stories have always been very personal to me, letting someone else read it is like showing them a personal side to me. Probably why I have disks and disks of unfinished stories that no one has ever seen. Batman, X-Files, Farscape, Forever Knight, Lois and Clark, even a Ghostbusters or two. They are all tucked away waiting to be finished. Or read. Maybe one day I'll share more... :)
