This is a follow-on story to "The Return." It is my continued imagining of how our Season 2 will commence.

This takes places three months after the season 1 cliffhanger where Vincent was kidnapped. It is the story of his return.

When Cat wakes in the hospital after her accident, the only one she waits to see is Vincent. Showing up in her room, however, may lead to their secret being exposed; putting their lives and the lives of the people they care about in more danger than ever before. Especially JT and Evan, who might or might not be able to look passed their differences to work towards the same goal.

Catherine is the daughter of a cruel, capricious king. Vincent is the knight assigned to protect her after failing to capture the vigilante ripping the criminals in the kingdom apart. Both must fight against their prejudices to save each other. M for violence and sexy times.

This is a somewhat alternative storyline set a season two. All events up to episode 1x14 have also happened here. An ongoing novel with 21 planned chapters. As published on Tumblr. Takes place immediately after the "Kiss", and tries to anticipate how they resolve their problems. My own take on the way the story should unfold. Set some time in the future, post 'Tough Love.' Cat & Vincent are in a good place in their relationship: they are both sure of the other's feelings & really savour the limited time they get to spend together. However, they have to be extremely careful now that the entire precinct, the ADA and Muirfield are closing in on Vincent. How far will Cat go to protect the man she loves?
