Things around Shepard always did tend to get worse before they started to improve. 'Purgatory', where the night had started; a state of momentary suffering. How appropriate, The universe certainly had a sense of humour, Joker'd give it that.

This story is love triangle between Shepard/Alenko/Vega. It will be told from Alenko and Vega's POVs. It will highlight parts of the game, but will not be a retelling of it. Not an AU, but some liberties have been taken for the sake of the plot.
