A mission to hunt down a band of highwaymen leaves Athos with a severe injury and even quieter than usual. Aramis' medical skills are pushed to the limits, while Porthos and d'Artagnan deal with the worrisome situation each in their own way. The Musketeers have to turn for help, but the fight for their brother’s life and fate is only just beginning.

Sometimes, among the bandages and candlelight, there is banter and there is angst. This is a series of different fly-on-the-wall conversations between those who find themselves within the four walls of the Infirmary.

Mainly Athos centric, this story takes place before series one. A broken Athos has nothing left to live for , until he acquires two new brothers, whether he wants them or not. This is my first attempt so please be kind. I welcome all opinions and advice. All characters are borrowed and I don't own to be in anyway historically accurate.

The three musketeers are in the early stages of what will become a lifelong friendship. At this point, the musketeer regiment is made up of nobles who grudgingly acknowledge the Inseparables prowess in fighting, but really believe that they should not be part of the garrison, unless it is as servants. The three men are all trying to find their place in the world.

This is a sequel to my modern AU story "Fair Game." Ten months after the battle against Russian criminal, Yaroslav Krupin, Heshima Game Reserve is doing well under the leadership of Jean Treville and his men. Funding is coming in, and income is being generated. Everyone has settled into their roles. They still have enemies though, and one in particular who is seeking revenge.

Going back was always hardest when you feared what you might find there. The musketeers jumped as the unmistakable sound of a pistol reached their ears as though it had been fired from some distance. They dashed from the cellar knowing immediately that the sound had come from where their brothers had been three floors above them...

This is S3 Episode 11 and what happened when Athos leaves Paris, but not with Sylvie. My take on what could have happened instead. I know from reading past comments that Sylvie was really not a favorite. So I hope you enjoy this version instead.

Paris, 1640. Three years have passed and Aramis, Porthos and d'Artagnan have settled well into their respective roles of First Minister, General and Captain but things are not the same and time cannot dissipate the feeling that they are incomplete. Will there ever be an occasion when the Inseparables ride together again? All for one and one for all?

Their story is one to be told for many generations to come. It's a tale of friendship, brotherhood and adventure, a story of heartbreak, duty and sacrifice. Many years after the four musketeers parted ways, danger strikes for France again. Will they reunite and stand side by side, to prevent France's downfall once again?

"Bones, why did you really bring me with you?" Jim asked. "I'm in the way, even here in Georgia." Bones was quiet as the porch swing rocked back and forth, the gentle rain lulling Jim to sleep. As his eyes closed, he heard a soft voice. "You're not in my way, or anyone else's, Jim. You're here so I can remind you, once and for all, that we don't leave anyone behind."

A cold winter's mission tests the Musketeers as they try to get home for the holidays.

Athos' first mission as a newly commissioned Musketeer has him not only running into trouble, but stretches Aramis and Porthos limits as well ...

Pre-Series fic. After Porthos is wounded, Athos and Aramis split up. Later Porthos finds that Aramis has been lying to him about his recovery from Savoy and his current injuries. Then, Athos returns seriously ill. As he tries to keep both men alive, despite their best efforts to kill themselves, will he be able to convince them to live? Will Treville be as forgiving?

A disgraced Treville has been stripped of his Captaincy and when Musketeers start dying, the first fear is that they are linked but then it appears that an unidentified person (or persons) seeks retribution for something in the past. As the Inseparables investigate, their search takes them back to the regiment's involvement years earlier at the siege of La Rochelle and beyond.

Though brothers of the heart and soul now, it wasn't always so. This is the tale of the formation of the Inseparables.

A group of new recruits only watch as Athos stumbles into the tavern after a mission drunk. Only he isn't drunk, he's badly hurt. Will their negligence and assumptions cost Athos his life?

Athos and d'Artagnan return from a mission to Picardy but all is not well. As Aramis states later, "Give me a broken bone to set, a bullet to dig out and a knife wound to sew and I can do something, but this disorder of the mind leaves me helpless."

A grieving and heartbroken Aramis acts rashly when news reaches him of a friend in trouble and his actions places his brothers in a dangerous situation and starts a race against time to protect those involved, both knowingly and unknowingly, from further harm. Expect lots of whumapge and brotherly moments - It'll be better than the summary I promise :)

After the skirmish in Pinon (S2 E5, 'The Return'), the boys are on their way back to Paris. There is only one little problem: Athos didn't escape as unscathed as it seemed at first look. *&* Slightly off- cannon, as well as a bit AU. Lots of H/C and Angst and 'some' Athos-whump. *&* Main focus on Athos and d'Artagnan and their bond.

It's an ordinary rainy day for the Musketeers until a convicted killer- with a connection to Aramis- is reported to have escaped from prison. Tasked with finding him, they managed to trap him in the catacombs beneath the city streets. As they venture down to find him things go from bad to worse... will the hunters become the hunted? Lots of whump and caring!brothers. R&R?

Dissatisfied with season 2 ending? This is an AU/Alternate reason added to S2E10, Trial and Punishment-why Aramis really left for Douai. Many fans believe Aramis was running away & abandoning his friends in the series, so I have added a more valid reason why he must leave his friends & his brotherhood behind. Lots of angst, anger and tears lead Aramis to finally say Goodbye.

Things are tense in the garrison with two of the famous inseparables at complete odds with each other. How will the pair handle it when they are forced to work together on a mission that quickly goes horribly wrong. Bonds will be tested and oaths will be broken. (sucky summary but please read anyways lots of H/C planned)

Porthos and d'Artagnan are sent on a mission to deliver a secret letter from the king. The mission uncovers a plot that will change the course of history for France and its King-with the Musketeers as unwilling players. The boys become entangled in a conspiracy of monumental proportions with one who will stop at nothing, even torturing and killing, to get what he wants.

Although the bond between Athos and d'Artagnan is strong - no one could have guessed the absolute depth of their connection. Will that connection prove powerful enough to save them both? Now up, the final chapter! I hope you enjoy these alternate conclusions of episodes 1 - 5 from season two!
