Shinichi's hand curling around her wrist redirects her attention and before she can say much of anything, he's pulling her along, along and away from the ruins of what was the last three years of their lives.

For Makorra week 2k15 prompt "Healing". Post-series: Korra had had her fair share of relationships, and she knew Mako had too, but nothing had felt quite right, and for a while she'd thought maybe she was broken from everything she had endured. But another part of her wondered...

We all have our sad stories. We all have our grievances. But it's how you handle them that shows who you really are. Korra knows all about that.

But it was alright, having Korra under his arm and walking out intoxicated and exhausted to the cab, stumbling into their apartment and into a warm, welcoming bed at three in the morning. Makorra kinda modern au. Just for fun :)

Narook asks Mako to help Korra and, because Mako doesn't know how to say "no," he begrudgingly agrees to his boss' request. - Makorra, mentions of Korrasami, AU

"'You know, he never really told us out loud, but we know that he loves you.' Bolin's words had a metal grip, almost knocking Korra out. She noticed how he used the present tense, not minding to correct him anyways." An alternate ending in which Mako does not survive the spirit vine ordeal.

Five years after their desertion to their responsibilities to the Citizens of The United Republic, Avatar Korra and Mako are once again reunited. Korra comes to the realisation that she and Mako never did have an ending. But on a stormy, rainy night, as she hangs on the verge of death, she realises that they never really had a beginning either.

"Life is not always fair, but we suck it up and go on", she explained and before Bolin could actually interrupt her, the note of bitterness in her last word made him stop. "'He lost something and some of us take a while to get over, some longer, and some never do" – post-finale, mako-centric, self-discovery, makorra of sorts.

So when Korra returns from her trip to the Spirit World, he realizes, he got used to the lies. For my damaged shipper feels, Mako-centric.

AU. Mako is sick and tired of his neighbor, Korra, whose attempts at cooking have led to forty-eight straight fire alarm building evacuations. Finally reaching his limit, Mako angrily takes it upon himself to teach her how to cook in the form of nightly lessons at his apartment.

She didn't realize how much she wanted a baby until she discovered she could never have one. Hearing the doctor's news, she wonders if her husband really meant it when he had told her "I'll always love you." Inspired by Tumblr posts that pointed out that the mercury poisoning probably messed up Korra's reproductive system, thereby making her unable to have children. Makorra.

A Makorra Reunion…of a different sort. Late nights, breaking and entering, and lovely friction. Here there be smut!
