Hi, I'm ChloeSek. I have written some fanfiction on Archive of Our Own and I will be cross-posting it here. This website will not let me link to AO3. (I guess they are worried about spam links to other sites.) My username is the same over there except it has an underscore: Chloe_Sek

I haven't written anything explicit, so the versions of the stories I post here are the same as the ones on AO3. I do have more stories on AO3 and I plan to use that as my main fanfic website since the story tagging, story uploading, and review moderation features over there are significantly more user-friendly. It's so much easier to edit a story over there if you happen to bump into an obvious typo.

You can message me if you want to talk about fandoms and things like that. I promise I'm nice unless you give me a reason not to be.

I thought I'd give forums a try. I started one to talk about uncommon pairings and crack pairings in DBZ. Feel free to stop by if you're in rare pair hell and would like to talk about your ship. I don't even know if forums are used that often here, but the only rules are follow the ff.net terms of service to keep things PG-13 and play nice!

I've been reading fanfiction since I was a teen back in the days of dial-up internet. I made an account here to connect with others with similar nerd interests and to favorite stories that I like. I used to have a quizilla account and a fanfiction.net account back in the day.

Why I love Horizon Zero Dawn:

Since there is space here, let me say that Horizon Zero Dawn is fantastic and if you have a Playstation 4 you absolutely should play it! Aloy is an interesting protagonist and the combat system of the game is very creative. I don't want to spoil the story, but I will just say that if you play the game you will find out what the deal is with all those machines and it will blow your mind. And parts of the game might make you cry. I got so into it that I spend like 90 hours running around and exploring. I got the platinum trophy too!

I also highly recommend the Last of Us. It's another well-written game and is quite the tear-jerker in many parts. I have the platinum for it on PS4 and I have beaten the game on grounded mode. (It's on the PS3 too!)

Motivations for Writing:

Mainly to take a break from things, and also for fun. I don't see myself writing fiction professionally, but I have some experience in technical writing because I majored in a STEM career. Like many people on here: wish fulfillment. I may have been disappointed with the ending of a book or an episode of a TV show, but I sure did enjoy the self-indulgent version of it I imagined up afterwards!
