Hi! I'm studying English Literature, and have always enjoyed writing, though I never really had the guts to get anything put up on the web. My fics will most likely be centered around those beautiful people in ShinRa Electric Company (Rufus, and of course, Turks), with the rest of the FFVII gang making an appearance now and then. I have two major OCs, to add variety to the stories, 'cause there's simply not enough ladies in the game! (Seriously, there are about 14 or 15 main males, and only 5 main women, COUNTING Aeris and Scarlet!) And while most of what I'm going to be posting up here has already been mapped out to some extent, I am completely open to suggestions and constructive criticism, so review away.

I have DCiS spread out over 7 notebooks, several computer documents, and various scraps of paper. I still write up a whole lot of new material for the chapters, 'cause as those of you that write know, often stories take a life of their own and don't want to go where you want them to go. But still, the bare bones for my stories are pretty much all set. All it needs is the lovely, entertaining flesh!!

Stuff on the Word Processor

A mini background-history of my OC, Miyuki, who many of the reviewers to DCiS have mentioned wanting to hear more about. This was formerly known as Miyuki's Story. It will be a smaller arc than DCiS, and we'll see how Miyuki came from being part of the Wutai resistance during the Wutai-ShinRa war into being part of the Turks and the Company itself. When it underwent the name change, it was because it wasn't just about Miyuki anymore; I added a lot of background on Tseng and Rude, their early days working at the Company and the individual characteristics of each of the guys. BTW, since this is right after the war in Wutai, there's an ongoing warning for violence and xenophobia, as well as bad language. And no, there's no Reno here as of yet, mostly because at the time the events in TGSW, Reno is still in his earliest teens.

Karaoke Nights in Seventh Heaven

A series of little songfics, all connected through the characters, I suppose. There's likely going to be fluff, OOCness, and they might not be in the usual songfic, karaoke format. So far so good. The chapters are all one-shots and do not connect, either to each other or to the stories themselves, but rather serve as a supplement.

Dreams Cloaked in Shadows

My Reno/Camryn baby! Full-length chapters, fluff, omakes, and still going strong! So far, we have Reno's early life pregame, some Before Crisis, where we are right now, and we'll be ending this arc soon enough. So far, I haven't been able to get much Before Crisis information, but what I can't find out, I'll make up, the Devil take the consequences!! Soon, I'll tackle the game itself, then Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus.

I have a ton of material gathered up, but it's too far ahead in the future for me to publish now (vis a vis maybe a couple of years after Advent Children).

Things I Like

My reviewers, first and foremost!! Whenever I open my inbox and I see a review or a Personal Message, it's like the clouds part and I hear the choir Celestial singing beautiful melodies!! No, but kidding aside, I'm really happy when people review, because they are giving constructive criticism and support which is invaluable when you're trying to learn how to become good at something, in this case writing. Besides, my reviewers are the happiest people around! "Rewards" for reviewing DCiS have included sexy personal dances from Reno, Chocobo plushies, pats on the head, and others! Be sure to check in, get your reward.

Other interests include: Sushi, Jack Daniel's, reading anything and everything, writing, surfing the web, yelling at Jeopardy contestants, driving around trying to find interesting places, traveling, anime, J-rock, heavy metal, dance music, creepy and morbid stuff. Students who complete their work on time and are actually brave enough to ask for more. Anything else, ask.

Things I Despise

Being stuck in traffic, waiting too long for stuff to happen, talking on the phone for more than 15 minutes (my ear gets hot, I kid you not), pretentious people, glitches in my computer (it's my baby, I hate for anything to hurt it . . .), reggaeton music (if you're in PR, you'll understand), students making lame excuses as to why they haven't completed their essays on time ("Honestly, my Grandma really did die this time!!") Yes, they still do this, even in the University level.

Favorite Animes

Visions of Escaflowne, Record of Lodoss War (the one with the chibis at the end), Fruits Basket, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trinity Blood, Gurren Lagann, Samurai 7, Afro Samurai, Gunslinger Girl, XXX-Holic, Gundam 00, and you seriously need to see Dai Mahou Touge, which is this ultra-bright colored, crack-head anime about a cute princess who beats people up using wrestling-submission type moves. Fun.

Why I May Not Update As Often As You Would Like Me To

I'm a Student-Teacher at the University I study in, a Teaching Assistant, which is something like an intern, only that I get paid and I'm not as abused. Much. Sort of. Heh.

But the reality is, that taking three classes that have in the university until 9:30 at night, then add to that 60 students whose papers I have to grade, and for whom I must prepare a class three times a week, things get pretty hectic. Last semester I had huge gaps between one chapter and another, which is something I truly want to avoid this time around (It had been the first semester TAíng, but this second time, I think I know enough to make my life easier) anyways, hope to see you around!
