With the race on for the cure, Caroline has no idea the important role she plays. As Caroline and Klaus grow closer and it is uncovered. Both will have to fight keeping something they hold dear to them from danger. (AU) picks up during 4:07

Elena Gilbert loves Stefan Salvatore. No, really, she does! Sure, she's been having more and more late night encounters with his devilish handsome brother Damon and there have been a few kisses and touches, but it's not like they mean anything. Right?

Prompt: In fairy tale land Hook saves Emma from Cora, and in Storybrooke Emma saves Hook from Rumple. RATING NOW CHANGED. Yes, it went up.

For us Delena and Klaroline fans, 4x09 didn't really end how we would have liked so here's the first chapter of an alternate ending...

Caroline comes across Klaus' latest carnage, and realizes it's partially her fault. Klaus can't bring himself to kill her, and together they discover a rare Christmas gift. The gift of forgiveness.

What was supposed to be "just one date" with the Original hybrid turned into a roller coaster of events which ultimately came down to one thing - Caroline Forbes making a choice that could either make or break her for, well...eternity.
