![]() Author has written 2 stories for Teen Titans, and Avatar: Last Airbender. Hello people of... FanFiction. If you are reading this, then let me be the first to say: CONGRATULATIONS! You have taken the time to come to this profile and try to find out more about me as a person. Either that, or you were just so bored with whatever you were doing that you thought there would be something here to use to make fun of this guy. But for those who haven't come to poke fun at the user, and actually want to know more, then I thank you for your time and support, if you are offering that. I suppose I should start with the name: DarkAuraX, which would best be shortened to just DAX for short, is just something I thought of when reading a Manhwa called Noblesse, where one of the main characters has black aura that he uses as his power to completely destroy anyone he fights. Also, adding the word Dark and an X to a name automatically increases the likability and awesomeness of the name by at least 70%. Wait... you mean it doesn't? And it just comes off as a lame name that almost everyone on the internet does just because they don't feel like coming up with a creative name? Well... that sucks... Anyway, I'm pretty new to this whole thing, what with actually publishing the stories that I write on my computer instead of just writing them and locking them away for no ones eyes to see. But now, I don't really care and would like to think that there are some things that other people would like, but I don't know. So right now, I only have the one story. But hey, you gotta start somewhere, right? WHOA!! Hey, you people enjoy video games? I know I do! And recently there are a lot of games that are being released that look amazing, so I thought I would throw in what my favorite games ever are: 1. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle- The first Gamecube game I ever played and is my favorite game in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. It is also, in my opinion, the last good Sonic game before Sonic Team and Sega just went down the toilet. All other Sonic games that came after weren't that good, in my opinion, and I feel that there never is/was/will be a worthy successor to this game... ever. With the excellent story of the game that lets you play as both the hero and dark side, the fluid controls (after getting past some of the wonky camera angles), solid voice acting (besides AMY!), and Chao Garden that gives so, so much replay-ability, I could go back and play this game over and over again without ever getting tired of it. It also has one of if not the best soundtracks in a video game ever. Then again, the same could be said to every Sonic game. Whether it's good or bad, the soundtrack is always going to be good. 2. Super Smash Bros. Series- Can't have a list of favorite video games without including Smash Bros. This series of games has always been very solid (EXCEPT FOR BRAWL! FUCKING SLOW ASS MOVES AND TRIPPING!). Melee is my favorite game of the franchise, along with Project M. If you haven't heard of Project M, it is a mod that makes Brawl more like Melee, with wavedashing, crouch canceling, much less floaty, and much faster controls. Personally, I love playing as Luigi because he's my favorite Mario Brother. With the release of Super Smash Bros. Universe, the possibilities are endless. Can't wait for that game to come out and then complain about it because it is not going to be like Melee. 3. Fire Emblem Awakening/Sacred Stones- I love the Fire Emblem franchise. It's so good. The turn-based strategy and the incorporated support system that gives every single character a personality rather than just generic units, the games give you a feel each move you have. You also feel obligated to save every character/unit in the game because you want them to live, rather than have them die. I also love that I could make my own Unit in Awakening, it actually feels like I am in the game now! 4. Fallout 3- God damn! I love this game so much. The story, in my opinion, is incredible. I interpreted it as a coming of age story about a boy/girl who ventures into the great unknown to rescue his/her father and then evolves into a story of saving an entire section of the world from certain doom. Another reason I love this game is that you pretty much craft the personality of your character from the beginning since you go through your characters' entire life, from being an infant, to a 10-year-old, to a teenager, to finally a young adult you make your character act how you want him to from the beginning. New Vegas is fun, but the story is kinda/very boring. The revenge aspect was cool, but then it forces you to pick a side, or you own side and fight for the entirety of New Vegas. 5. The Elder Scrolls Oblivion/Skyrim- I love RPG games and I love Bethesda games. They have made so many good games (except Brink) that I very well believe that they can make the greatest video game to ever exist. These games are so much fun, the open world both these games have are so full of life and character that you find yourself going through them over and over again and constantly find new things you didn't find in a previous playthrough. 6. Tales of Vesperia- This game. This game is one of my favorite games ever! The story is so good! The voice acting is top notch! The personalities of every character is so prevalent that you feel as though they truly exist. The fighting system is perfect. The skits and cutscenes are so unique and include humor to keep the audience entertained. The art style. The art style is so beautiful, it's like scenery porn, god damn this game is beautiful. The main character is also one of my favorite characters ever in a video game. Yuri Lowell is so great of a character, he acts like the older brother to the rest of the group, protecting them and acting as a guide for the others to follow their own paths. He also has a very clear view of the world; he knows the world is not fair and does what needs to be done, even if it makes him a criminal. The world sucks, but he still believes it's worth fighting for. Damn he's so cool. 7. Kingdom Hearts Series- Hey, do you love Disney? I do! Hey, do you love Final Fantasy? Eh, not really. Put them together and what do you get? One of the greatest series of games ever to grace the world, that's what! I love Kingdom Hearts. The characters, the story, the music, the fighting, everything is absolutely awesome about this series of games. The feelings it makes you feel when you play the games, oh man! I want to cry sometimes it pulls my heartstrings so! 8. Fallout 4- WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Oh my GOD, am I so happy for this game finally coming out! I love this game. Bethesda really did an amazing job with the next installment to the Fallout series. Now I know the game isn't perfect, but there is so much to do and so many intricate mechanics (that don't all work or at least work the way you want them to). But the game is still incredibly solid and is an amazing source for entertainment for hours on end. Man, I'm probably almost 100 hours in and I still haven't even gotten that far in the main story line. There's just so much to explore! SHAZAAM!! Hey! You guys like anime/manga? Because I have started to stray away from anime. Personally, I enjoy reading the manga more. I don't know why but I just do (probably because I've seen too many bad English dubs of good manga that I feel like shooting myself in the ears, and probably because anime tends to rely a lot more on fan service than actually character development and storytelling). 1. Cowboy Bebop- One of the only anime that I enjoy watching, and is in fact my favorite anime ever made. The art style is beautiful, the story is amazing, the characters are so cool, funny, and play off each other perfectly. The voice acting is so good and matches each character perfectly. Spike Spiegel is one of my favorite characters ever! And Steve Blum giving the character his voice adds to his awesomeness, so very much. 2. Magi- This is a very good manga. Never seen the anime, but from what I have heard, it doesn't really do a great a job at explaining everything as well as the manga does. So I like the characters and the story a lot and because it reminds me of 1001 Arabian Nights, and I really like those stories. 3. Kingdom- If you have never heard of this manga, go read it. It takes place during the Qin era of China and follows the rise of a young boy swordsman who befriends the next in line to the throne, rises in ranks of the army to become a general, and befriends all of the great generals and carries on their spirits as he becomes a greater and greater general himself. The art of the manga is sooooooooo amazing. Fully detailed and the story is amazing as well. The characters are likable, especially the main character. He may be hot-headed, but he pushes himself through every obstacle he comes across and becomes stronger to protect those he commands. He also isn't a wimpy bitch like a lot of other characters are in other manga/anime. I swear I hate main characters who are wimps and don't do shit. 4. Eyeshield 21- This is a football sports manga/anime. One of the only ones that I truly enjoy. The characters are so great and the story is great in making you feel for the protagonists team. Hiruma Yoichi is fucking insane, he is such a likable character. He is super smart, has the ability to analyze any situation and think of at least 18 different solutions for it, and is more likable than the main character. I mean he is one of the main characters, but the story revolves more around a freshman football player, Sena, who is kinda a wimpy nice guy, but becomes cool in his own right as the series goes on. All the characters are cool in their own right, and there are parts that make you feel, like almost want to cry, it pulls on your heartstrings pretty well in some places. 5. Fist of the North Star- This series is fucking awesome! It is one of the manliest manga/anime you will ever read/watch. Kenshiro is the coolest and strongest protagonist ever to exist. He lives for others and protects those weaker than him while punishing, brutally, those who take advantage of and torture the weak. This is a main character that all main characters should be like. A true protector of all as he wanders the wastes, going where he is needed. The series itself also makes you want to cry manly tears of manliness. And also it makes you cry like a baby because it is so sad sometimes. The prequel also, Fist of the Blue Sky, is also fucking awesome. Read that one as well, but you don't have to to understand Fist of the North Star. Well, I guess that's as good a place as any to stop. Thanks again for coming to the profile and if you are reading this, you have taken the time to read everything I wrote. Thank you very much for you time, and I want to say that without you all, I wouldn't be anything. That's a lie, but at least it makes me sound thankful for my audiences, which I am, but I do have a life outside of whatever it is I am currently doing. If you have any questions, PM me if you want. If I get enough questions, maybe I could do an FAQ sort of deal? Maybe? Perhaps? Who knows? I sure don't. Anyway, until next time, See You Space Cowboys. |
