Christine's Angel of Music is a source of comfort and protection for her, but suddenly he begins to change and become obsessive and frightening to her...then she discovers that he and the Phantom are one and the same. EC, Raoul-friendly, rather dark Erik.

The setting for this story is a mix of the 2004 musical and Kay's novel. I have relied heavily on the musical for Madame Giry, Meg, Christine and Raoul, but have utilized Kay's Erik almost exclusively. Please read and review. Thank you!

With Christine pregnant with their first child, Erik must confront his own past as he sets out to learn the truth about his parents, and about himself. A short sequel to "Variations on a Theme of Leroux", a story about the power of love and forgiveness.

Take the world of Gaston Leroux's novel, add equal parts Andrew Lloyd Weber and the author's imagination, sprinkle it with drama and romance, and you get Variations on a Theme of Leroux. Pairing is Erik & Christine.
