United We Stand, a Stargate Alternate Universe by
LHB reviews
One of the main tropes of Stargate was that it could be happening Right Now, hidden from the public by government secrecy. This alternate universe assumes Stargate is happening in our world as we know it with a heavier dose of realism and harder sci fi. It tells the story of the SGC, Earth, and humanity in a universe full of aliens, technological wonders, and galactic conflict.

Public Knowledge: Trust by

I have always wanted to see the Stargate program go public. This story begins just after the movie and ends just before the revelation. There are three major plotlines: the formation of the SGC, the difficulties faced by the people of Abydos, and Apophis. AU with mostly CC. A bit darker than the series, but not by much. Rated "T" for violence and some swearing.

What are the chances of a technical screw-up bringing Earth and the Colonies together? Not very high, at least that's what Lt. Kelsey Adama thought. Yet, here she is, on the brink of history where two supposedly long lost tribes of man are reunited. But when both sides have not seen one another for thousands of years and one has no intention of playing by the rules things get messy
