The whine of a blaster charging up beside his left proximal audio receptor and the words 'Don't move, slagger' weren't the subtlest of signs that Bumblebee's mission had gone to Pit, but they did clarify that it was taking the express chute. Well, /that/ wasn't something Tony has expected, at all. Sure, he always advocated for the Hulk, and he knew the good doctor has become quite more accepting of that part of him over the years, but to have him actually trying to /help/ his alter-ego? That was… surprisingly uplifting. Until it wasn't anymore.
