Sherlock was dead, dead and buried in the cemetery beneath a cold stone grave. When at last he crawled out again, earth caked in his eye sockets and beneath his fingernails, he found himself alone. Sherlock didn't need to know how it had happened, didn't honestly care. He was present, and he was stuck, and that was all right as long as John stayed stuck, too.

Sherlock leaves one last note for John, giving him a few final instructions.
