Hunith's first reaction, upon seeing her son ride into Ealdor at a full gallop, was to panic. "He knows!" Merlin shouted, and her heart stuttered to a halt. Then he turned, and she saw the grin that encompassed every feature of his face.

Merlin's just revealed himself as a sorcerer to the entire court of Camelot, including Arthur. So now what?

Merlin's magic is exposed and he is assumed dead. But he can't just leave Arthur alone, so he disguises himself and returns to Camelot.

In the wake of Uther's death, Arthur goes too far in an argument with Merlin and is left to try and pick up the pieces.

In which Merlin is bludgeoned, strangled, attacked, smothered, shot with glass, and tossed out a window, burned, whipped, stabbed, thrown down stairs, nearly drowned on dry land, and harpooned, and still manages to save Camelot from seven evil sorcerers.

3x13 tag. Lancelot doesn't understand Merlin. He saves all of Camelot, yet asks for no recognition. Well someone needs to thank him, and Lancelot decides to fulfill that roll. But what if someone else is within hearing distance when he does?

Ridiculous things happen. Arthur thought that this was probably the most ridiculous thing yet. Uther thought it was an outrage. Lancelot thought it spelled doom. Merlin was inclined to agree with Arthur.

Of all the ways Merlin worried Arthur would discover his magic, he never thought it would be so mundane.

Merlin comes back from a trip, to a rather surprising welcome.
