A short one-shot detailing a fragment of what exactly happens when Hiccup is pushed to abandon his ideals in defense of his best friend. A scene that wouldn't leave my head until I did it justice.

The Avengers decide to make Nick Fury a cake for his birthday. None of them have any baking experience, but how hard could it be? Surely this can't be more difficult than saving the world from aliens and robots, right?

Change comes upon everyone and everything. Sometimes it is gradual, other times it's very sudden. Hiccup's death and spirit-birth is a little bit of both, but it's nothing he can't handle.
