Hey there, people. I'm ThePinkBadger, but you can call me Pink. Or Badger. Heck, you can call me Radioactive Robot Chef if you want, it's not that big a deal to me. XD

Basically, I'm here because for years, I've always had my own "fanfictions" in my head for anything I've ever been interested in, really. For some reason though, I never turned them into stories. Recently, I decided that it was time to put my stories into words on a page. Or whatever, you know what I mean.

I'm not sure how many fanfictions I'll get around to, but at the moment, I'm glad to have one in progress. If I'm super-lucky, I could be done with it within a few months. Probably not, but at least there's progress. It's slow-going, but it is progress.

If you haven't already noticed by my singular fanfic, I love Xiaolin Showdown. And if you didn't catch it from my name already, I'll tell you that I also love the Phoenix Wright series. And I'm a huge nerd.

I'm also currently a biology major (for the time being), so that's why I don't have as much time as I'd like to update my stories. Otherwise, I'd probably be writing a new one every month or something. But anyway, I'll probably switch to either ecology or geology when I get to a four-year school.

Anyway, that's me. The crazy badger lady. Yep. :D

Oh, one last thing! I'm not always thinking 100% when I write, so if anything seems weird or out of place or out of character, let me know. Otherwise, I could come home from work, half asleep, and add 5 paragraphs about Master Fung talking to a banana about the weather. That wouldn't work. Or maybe it would. I suppose bananas have a right to know the weather too. *shrug*

A note about "Remembrance": So in some of the notes I wrote in the chapters, I mentioned (I think) that Chase is important to the story, and I know the description of the story says "Eventual ChaseXOC". This is true, but not in the way you'd probably think. I want to explain it better, but I don't want to spoil the future plot.

Also, I know I haven't mentioned much else about the plot, and I know the character of Mei is virtually unknown except for Rai's brief encounter with her in his dream. I'm trying to figure out when exactly to give her a true introduction into the story, and I'm in the process of planning some changes to her backstory. Originally, my plan was to give her strong connections to every character from the past (Dashi, Wuya, etc), but I decided against one of my ideas. It may change again, so I won't talk too much about it until after the story is completely finished. However, I WILL mention something else: Hannibal Bean is VERY important to the plot. I'm not going into how or why, but I figure it needs to be mentioned.

Ever since his introduction in the actual show, I was interested in Hannibal. He's arguably the most evil character on XS, but sadly, nothing is explained about his past besides the fact that Chase locked him in the Ying Yang World. We all know he's evil, but I wondered: Why? What makes him so evil? Why is he an anthropomorphic bean, and was he always that way? Just how old is he? And if he was around 1500 years ago, why the hell does he have a Southern-type accent!? Since we really don't have a definitive answer to any of these questions, I decided to try my hand at coming up with my own hypothesis. I will attempt to explain the life of Hannibal Roy Bean as best as I can, while hopefully staying true to his character, and to the show. I want to give him a backstory without making it too far-fetched, and without making things too confusing.

By the way, I have a favor to ask. I don't have much (or any, really) experience in creating original characters, so if Mei comes off as annoying or Mary Sue-ish for some reason, let me know ASAP. I want her to be interesting and likeable, without being overly perfect, or making her life one big sob story. I realized originally that I had accidently planned her character sort of that way, and I wasn't happy with it. Everyone has flaws, and Mei has her share of them.
