As suggested in the title of Jane Austen's original work, Darcy's greatest failing is pride. His passionate love for Elizabeth only mitigates this character flaw, resulting in the awful proposal at Hunsford. There's a bit of jealousy between the Doctor's most constant companion, and the woman who introduced them. The first two scenes take place immediately following the events of the minisode "Clara and the TARDIS." (You can find it easily on YouTube if you don't own the 7th season boxed set) The rest takes place following the events of "The Name of the Doctor."

The Doctor is an old, sad, mad man. He has lost too much to love again. At least, that's what he tells himself. Clara is a curious young traveller who wants nothing more than to see the stars. But she, too, is scarred by a loss. Angie and Artie can see the connection between these two, loud and clear. They have a plan, but will the whims of the universe halt it in its tracks?

The Doctor had intended to return for Clara the very next Wednesday, but when his Tardis returns many years later, he finds she's moved on. (Whouffle)

After River's farewell, the Doctor is devastated and does something unforgivable to the only person around him - his companion, Clara. Hurt and confused, she runs away to a distant country, only to realise that being with him is more precious to her than anything else.

"Only one set of choices should have been chosen in the end, resulting in one version: Clara Oswald. The rest should have been lost in silence and shadow, not in death. Not because of him." Oswin is Clara but isn't, and they are both too perfect. Absolutely, agonizingly perfect. Spoilers! for TNotD, but also set in AotD.

Oneshot - The Doctor… The Eleventh Doctor..? The Current Doctor..? My Doctor..? Oh my stars this is so confusing right now… There are technically two Doctor's running about at the moment and I can't seem to sort out how to use pronouns for them.

The Doctor left a lot out of how he and I came to Sweetville for the sake of time. But time is not the boss of you, and you should always waste time when you don't have any.

"What?" Clara asks, biting her nail yet again, "Am I? Am..." And the Doctor just looks down at the two solid blue lines on this stick of white plastic with disbelief. Clara. Oswald. Is. Pregnant. [Doctor x Clara]

He laughed weakly in that way that signaled he was about to say something she wouldn't like hearing. "You're about to become part of the history lesson. This is the way they solved their population problem: the Antipoi breeding pod."
