This is a post revival story, please do not read if you have not seen the Revival Episodes. This is what I wish would happen. The early chapters are short but it gets better. I hope you enjoy! (Spoilers for A Year in the Life.) With this short story, I'm attempting to fix a startling omission in the revival. Is it AU or simply some unaired scenes within canon? You be the judge. Fair warning, this doesn't solve the problems of the revival's cliffhanger, only compounds them. If you're gonna end in a cliffhanger, you might as well go all out!

It became a new normal that they would run into each other once or twice a year, drawn together at Luke and Lorelai's for family holidays and events. What does this new normal look like for Jess and Rory? Banter, late night conversations, old friends becoming new friends, hints of tension and accidental touches. What if Rory stayed in touch with Jess throughout his transformation into the guy we see in Season 6? Starts at 4x21: Rory has enough money for a cab and so doesn't call Dean for a ride home. Jess shows up too early and, while waiting outside her dorm, has a chance to re-think his proposal. Season 5 rewrite.

(AU) Logan Huntzberger & Jess Mariano need a third person to share the rent on their NYC apartment. Despite initial reservations about sharing with guys, Rory decides to move in. Two has always been company, three might be a crowd. Though Logan & Jess always vowed to put their friendship before women, things might justchange when Rory Gilmore enters their lives.

This is a post revival fic concentrating on Literati. This story picks up at the end of Fall. Other minor characters may appear, but the main focus of this story is the relationship between Jess and Rory. Please read and review. I hope you enjoy!
